Al Tettuccio — Restaurant in Barletta

Get ready to treat yourself to some of the best food you'll have in the charming town of Barletta. Located in the heart of the historical city center, Ristorante Al Tettuccio is not only a medieval themed restaurant, with the architecture having been built roughly around that time (or at least appears to have been), but also has some creatively delicious food. Some food in fact that you may not typically expect to like, but should definitely try!

Their antipasti is just as good as their entrees, but there's sincerely nothing like their specialty pizzas. Letting the dough rise for an incredible amount of time, the pizza is some of the best you'll have in all of Italy. By far anything you'll find in Naples.

The owners are extremely friendly and personable, and make you feel right at home here. Their prices are on par with other restaurants in the city, but the quality is so much better than the majority of establishments in town.

Try their wine from Troia, and by all means, don't leave the restaurant without topping off your meal with a fantastic dessert.... as though the pizza and linguine...

This is a really special place, only 1min away from the Duomo Cathedral, and the experience, venue and food ... are simply AMAZING.

Work as a tour leader around the world, so I've tried quite a few restaurants. We were 28 people ... So this could be the equivalent to 28 reviews in one.

AWESOME food, lovely calm atmosphere and excellent service. The whole team with Valentina, Gabrielle and Danielle at the front, did EVERYTHING to make us happy.

All in all ... A lovely experience that wrapped up our day in Barletta, on a really nice way.

The best restaurant I've tried in this city, and I've been there a few times.

"Un pranzo indimenticabile nel cuore di Barletta"

Ho avuto il piacere di pranzare al Ristorante "Al Tettuccio" situato nel Centro Storico di Barletta. Questo accogliente ristorante offre una squisita cucina italiana in un ambiente piccolo e caratteristico, con una volta curata che rende l'atmosfera ancora più speciale.

Sin dall'inizio, la qualità del cibo si è dimostrata eccellente, con antipasti deliziosi come le pepite di baccalà all'olio di arachidi, datterino giallo, olive taggiasche e pistacchio di Bronte, e la tartare di tonno con arancia e fragole. Il polpo su straciatella, purtroppo, non ha raggiunto lo stesso livello di eccellenza, con alcuni pezzi troppo gommosi o bruciati.

I primi piatti, invece, sono stati un trionfo di sapori. Gli spaghetti della casa con gambero crudo e base di stracciatella erano deliziosi, così come gli spaghetti all'arancia con gamberi, che si sono rivelati eccelsi. Il secondo, una frittura di calamari e gamberi in olio di arachidi, era leggera e gustosa. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino bianco Greco di Tufo.

Nonostante qualche intoppo all'inizio, dovuto all'attesa per la prenotazione, lo chef si è dimostrato estremamente professionale e cortese, scusandosi e offrendoci due piatti aggiuntivi di pasta. Inoltre, si è premurato di verificare personalmente che tutto fosse andato bene a fine pranzo, scusandosi nuovamente per il ritardo.

Il prezzo, intorno ai 45€ a testa, è giustificato dalla qualità del cibo, dal servizio e dall'ambiente accogliente. L'esperienza complessiva è stata ottima e, qualora mi trovassi nuovamente a Barletta, non esiterei a tornare al Ristorante "Al Tettuccio". Un punto a favore è sicuramente la possibilità di prenotare online tramite The Fork, nonostante il ritardo incontrato durante il giorno di festa.

In conclusione, "Al Tettuccio" è un'ottima scelta per un pranzo speciale o una deliziosa pausa nel cuore di Barletta. Un'esperienza culinaria che vale la...
