I never leave bad notes as I understand the hard work going into any business and that sometimes a bad evening because lack of staff or other situation should not warrant a bad review that stays forever.
This said. It has been our worse food experience in Italy. Long story short; 100 Euros for 1 plate of pasta and 1 portion of veal. 2 wine glasses of terrible wine (one corked the other wine vinegar) … food was highly uninspired and dull. And to top it they charge you an extra 10 Euros as surprise in the end for « you know, bread and water ».
We left the wine, ate in 20 minutes and we’re on our way.
I wish them the best and to improve. I also plan to delete this review in a year, as no situation is permanent. If in Bellano, please, go elsewhere. I was too polite to turn away (although I returned the corked stuff… and got vinegar) but do yourself a favour. Just eat a can of fish or basic pizza if anything...
Read moreWe did an evening with the classic menu (75€/p.). We started alone in the restaurant a friday evening in mid-april, trusting the good notes. However, we stayed alone. The interior is very nice, so is the view. We ordered the classic menu and, to our disappointment, it was nothing more than classical menu indeed. And very small portions. My husband did come out of the restaurant still hungry, and he is not a big eater. A bit of meat in the beginning, small amount of pasta, a peace of meat with 1 potato. The dessert is a matter of taste (zabaione), to our taste the high presence of alcohol kills it right from the start. On top, dry nuts and small cakes on the side do not improve the "experience".
If you expect a very tasty surprising menu, where you feel the passion of the chef, do not go. For 215€, including 2 basic glasses of wine, we are used to eat way better.

Read moreIt was by chance we got to this restaurant as we were late - arrived at the restaurant at 1355 and we were sure that they were going to close as on Google the opening hour was till 2pm
But as we entered the waiter said no problem and welcomed us warmly! We were so happy!
We took the chef’s recommendation which was the dish of the day - tagliatelle with fresh porcini mushrooms OMG it was sooooo good! We also go tagliatelle truffles which was also soooo good!
Our appetiser was tomato carpaccio OMG it was so good and I would recommend this!
The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and they treat you to a fine dining. Yes, the price is on the high end but if you’re a foodie then you’ll appreciate the taste! Your taste buds will be soooo happy!
