Gennaro e Pia | Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Bergamo

My recent visit to Gennaro e Pia | Ristorante Pizzeria was incredibly disappointing. Despite having a reservation, my party and I found ourselves in a chaotic situation. We stood at the entrance for a full 10 minutes, waiting for someone to acknowledge our presence. Unfortunately, nobody came to assist us, so we approached a waiter to inquire about our reservation.

To our surprise, even after speaking with the waiter, the situation did not improve. The blond hostess eventually arrived, but instead of addressing our concerns, she asked us to wait even longer. Throughout this ordeal, we felt invisible and ignored, as if we were from another planet.

This experience left a lasting negative impression, and we ultimately decided to leave. The lack of communication and professionalism displayed by the staff was truly disappointing. I would not recommend Gennaro e Pia | Ristorante Pizzeria based on...

We have been waiting for 3 pizzas for an hour. The waiter who seated us was looking like we were bothering him. What I have to say, the food and prosecco was really good. The final bill was 62.5 for us and they wanted to charge us 101.5 which I refused and asked to recheck. Then they admit the error but when giving me back the change from the correct bill (62.5) from my 100 euros note, they gave me 10 euros less as they should. Total fail, I do not...

Abbiamo prenotato per sei persone con l'intenzione di mangiare pizza e piatti a base di pesce. Appena arrivati ci viene "consigliato" di ordinare piatti non troppo variegati fra loro perché hanno una tavolata numerosa e la diversità di piatti potrebbe richiedere alla cucina tempi lunghi e già qui ci girano le scatole perché se vado al ristorante e' perche' voglio mangiare quello che desidero,la cucina e i tempi non devono essere un mio problema. A questo punto o chiudi e servi solo la tavolata o ti fai il mazzo! Ordiniamo due fritture di soli calamari,una grigliata mista e tre primi,poi pizza,contorni vari. Le fritture arrivano subito,ridicole e misere,forse rimasugli del grande banchetto? Arrivano due primi in contemporanea quasi con le fritture,tanto da costringere la cameriera a tenere in caldo un primo per poter finire di mangiare la frittura. I tre primi sono arrivati in tempi record risultano anche essi miseri, ci chiediamo come faccia un risotto alla pescatora ad arrivare dopo neanche 5 minuti? Anche quelli rimasugli? Anche la quantità ridicola nel piatto lo lascia presuppore. La nostra esperienza è stata negativa,avremmo voluto porzioni più abbondanti per quello che abbiamo speso e un trattamento migliore. I clienti sono tutti uguali,pagano quanto quelli affezionati! La pizza si salva ,ma e' piccoa se non la fa il loro pizzaiolo napoletano...
