Piero e Lella ristorante — Restaurant in Bergamo

Well, I came back because I wanted to try the pizzas. They have an oven right at the door so you can see them making it. I like watching people make food so watching the chef preparing the pizza was fabulous. I was going to order takeaway at another restaurant but their service was rather unwelcoming so I came back to this restaurant. I was very welcomed by the waiter so I was glad I came back! They had the Menu in a number of languages like English, Italian, french and German which is exceptional! They had descriptions of the dishes which makes choosing a little hard because everything sounds amazing. I ordered the GIALLO E GUANCIALE pizza and I would like to say that it is the best pizza I have every had! I have nothing but compliments and I hope anyone who reads this will try this pizza too! Such a cute restaurant - we loved it. The lady working there was just so sweet and the chef came out to check in every table. It was a very cozy and delicious meal. She sent us some chickpea flower bread which was very yummy. We started out with the homemade pesto tagliatelle and mussels both were delicious. Had a lovely dinner at piero e lella ristorante. Located in a secluded courtyard away from the street the food was beautiful. It was aell priced and the service was amazing! Despite the language barrier our hostess took pains to ensure that we understood the menu. Our favourite dishes were the panna cotta and the rabbit.
