Hidden Gem! We went twice to Enoteca Porta Osio as a couple. Once for an a la carte dinner and once for a set 6 course menu. Both visits we very much enjoyed since meals were wonderful mix of classic elements (tuna, lamb, pasta) but including modern tastes and interpretations. Also the wines were excellent as the service as such. What a great evening we had! The highlight of our trip. The Porta Osio is a small place near the center of Bergamo. It has a small selection of slow food dishes and a wide selection of wines. We were received with a nice free amuse bouche and they offered us some special kids friendly dishes for our little ones. We were quite disappointed about this place. We read the good reviews, but in the reality it was different. I would not choose this place if I knew that there is a special price for seat - 3 eur/per person. There are no info about that, and the staff did not mentioned it. The place was totally empty, no other customers, no reservations and they just charged us extra 9eur for our seats. Quite poor choice in the menu. No options for kids.
