The restaurant was busy (8pm) and we had to wait a little while to be shown to our reserved table. Though the restaurant specialises in local food, the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful in describing the dishes, the menu per course was limited. Some of our pasta dishes were good, others said their pasta was disappointing. Unfortunately our desserts weren't that liked either and the panna cotta was served as pictured.

Ein wirklich gemütlich wirkendes Lokal. Leider sprechen wir kein italienisch und die Kommunikation auf englisch war nur mit dem Koch möglich. Wir hatten das Wildschwein und die Trüffelpasta. Das Fleischgericht war lecker, ebenso die Polenta. Die Pasta hat leider nur nach Nudelwasser geschmeckt und auch der Trüffel, der großzügig gehobelt wurde hat bedauerlicherweise kein Aroma gehabt und das Gericht nicht gerettet. Auf Nachfrage haben wir zwar geschmolzene Butter erhalten, ich hätte mir gewünscht dass man mir einfach ein anderes Gericht anbietet. Kein Wort des Bedauerns als ich es fast komplett retour hab. Wir haben den vollen Preis bezahlt, dafür kein Trinkgeld gegeben weil wir keinen guten Service erfahren haben. Auch wenn wir die Sprache nicht sprechen, wissen wir dennoch wenn schlecht über uns geredet wird. Schade, wir können das Lokal leider nicht empfehlen. Weder geschmacklich noch des Service wegen.

Io e mio marito siamo tornati in questo ristorante di Bordighera alta (il vecchio borgo con i suoi carrugi), molto caratteristico. Abbiamo cenato martedì sera, ottime materie prime cucinate con cura e servite con gentilezza e cortesia. Assaggio di olio extravergine di olive taggiasche con pane di Triora, per me brandacujun con panissa e seppie in umido all'antica (tutto ottimo); per mio marito maltagliati al pesto con una delizia di formaggio (prescinseua) e poi polpo spadellato con crema di fagioli di Pigna. Infine abbiamo assaggiato un tiramisù classico preparato in modo esemplare. 1/2 l. di chardonnay e una bottiglia di acqua minerale (non quella filtrata che altri ristoranti di Bordighera servono) il tutto 74 €. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
