So today I had lunch at this restaurant with my daughter and it was an ok lunch given the location although the food left to be desired. The fish fillet dish was tiny for the price and the pasta ragu meat had burnt taste. The waiters were friendly and helpful.

On our way home from Bosa my daughter needed to go to the toilet and I thought we could go there again, it was quite hot and it would be a good opportunity for us to also get some drinks.

I went there and was greeted by the man who works behind the till and, boy, in hindsight, I shouldn’t have gone there.

The man was clearly disturbed, behaved in a very rude aggressive and thuggish way. The reason? apparently because I moved towards the fridge to get drinks. He told me in the most possible rude way that I was not allowed to get the drinks myself. Well I didn’t know that, given that the fridge had front doors and in many places that’s not how it goes anyway. But ok.

I have to say I was shocked by it. The episode was right in front of my daughter and, being a child, felt intimidated with the treatment we got from the man. I have never experienced anything like this before.

In the end I felt confused by the whole thing (having to keep interacting with someone who just harassed me seconds ago) that I decided to just walk away from the premises - my daughter was a bit in shock after the episode. Behind me I could still hear sarcastic remarks by the man. Surreal.

Sir, you should not treat any human being the way you treated us today, especially at a restaurant in a touristic town like Bosa. See, many people perhaps experience Italy for the first time at your restaurant, you leave these people a very very bad and warped representation of the lovely and friendly...

A cute little gem of Bosa! If you are looking for a home-style dining experience, this is your number one choice. The location could not be better, so it is a wonderful place for a panoramic dinner with a castle view next to the river—every table had a great view! The menu includes both land (terra) and Sea (mare), with some nice dishes such as cordula that you don't find in many restaurants but you'd be happy to find on your plate when invited to a Sunday lunch at a local family's home. The owner of the restaurant is very kind and attentive, and all the staff were very patient and welcoming. We had a delicious meal in a relaxing atmosphere even on a busy Sunday night during summer. Quite honest prices for the quality of food...

We had a really bad experience and can't recommend this place to anyone. We waited over 30 minutes to order, service just ignored us and we should had taken this as a sign. Waited 1 and a half hour for food with poor quality. The starters were okay, the rest was really bad. Noodles not at all as they were presented, the meat was burned and a really small portion - not worth it for 15€ a plate. After two bites I couldn't eat my dish anymore, which the waiter took really personal. He than kind of apologized for the burnt meat, but in the end we paid for all of it - so 2 hours later, still hungry and very disappointed we left this place. Try...

This is the smaller place next to the big restaurant with red-white tablecloths and delicious sardinian food. Both the wild boar and the prawns in malvasia were delicious. The owner was very friendly and had good advice for typical sardinian wines and desserts. Ending with a coffee and locally made liquors was the finishing touch. Overall a great experience and I would recommend it to everyone.
