This restaurant has ticked all the boxes for how NOT to treat a customer. Here is the list of things that went wrong and for which we are NOT going back, ever:
we had to wait 30 min before our table was ready and the manager di not even apologise for the wait
the main dishes were terrible and arrived after ONLY 15 min we ordered, meaning that they were cooked hours earlier and reheated. However, we received the spaghetti cold, yes cold, although it was meant to be a warm dish. The fregula was warmish but it tasted as if it was reheated a few times. A strategy probably based on customer's demand!
the second dish was a fritto misto which it was terrible. The colour was brown (it has to be gold colour), which means that the kitchen oil in which it was fried was dirty. The squid wasn't soft, it was very difficult to chew it, in fact we left it. We believe the fish was frozen! The price for this dish was 20 Euros, OUTRAGEOUS! We don't mind paying a high price if the food is satisfactory..
the porcini in my friend's pizza were disgusting, had a bitter taste and a very strange aspect. We believe they were unfrozen the day before and perhaps cooked on the day. She removed all the porcini from her pizza for which she paid a high price, of course.
when I asked to speak to the manager about all this I was made to wait 20 minutes. I chased her presence a couple of times and I was reassured by the waiter that she would have been there in minutes.. After I chased for her the third time the waiter told me that the manager had gone home! WHAT??!! She basically didn't want to speak to us and ran away!! Shocking...
The waiter kindly apologised for everything and removed two dishes from the bill. All of the above made the whole experience a terrible experience. Had the manager agreed to speak to me and apologised properly, perhaps explaining what had happened, I wouldn't have been writing this review right now.
Oh, we are Italians, we’d better cook the above at...
Read moreDo not be fooled by their rating on google reviews. There was a previous ownership with high standard and back then it was lovely. Now you will have to wait 40 mins once you are seated to be offered water and a menu. The pasta was awful! Grey flavourless and dry- uneatable. The waiters see you call them, roll their eyes and walk away, madness. I once asked one for chili oil, he said he didnt have any, and when I told him I could see it on 2 other table and just wanted a little bit he said those were probably broken and I wouldn’t be getting any. You will also have to queue for about 35 mins to be able to pay. There are so many nicer places to eat in Bosa, stay clear this place is not nice. And its one of the most expensive restaurants in Bosa. Clearly they are solely resting on the laurels of the...
Read moreI was there during the beer festival so the only options available were the fix menus. I got the seafood one. The Calamarata (not paccheri as advertised) with mussel tasted ok but the pasta was poorly cooked and most of the rings were broken. The fried calamari tasted ok as well but the breeding was way too thick and the calamari sticking together. Food tasted all right (not amazing but not awful as well) but there were too many preparation mistakes. I also ordered a semifreddo (one of the only 2 available dessert options) and it was very good and a coffe (awful). Service was way above average but the check was 45.5 Euro (35 for the menu and 10.5 for coffee, dessert and a small water) which seemed grossly overpriced foe what I got. Overall I would not...
