Eat here if you like high quality Japanese food. Pro: Outstanding food; we ate a wakame salad, mixed Tempura, the large sushi and sashimi platter for two, and green tea and rice gelato for dessert. The fish was excellent and the serving for two was incredibly generous - no fillers or vegetable rolls - fresh scallop, sweet prawns, roe, mackerel, fluke, octopus, in addition to fatty tuna and salmon. Das Shinto liegt fast im Zentrum Brescias, nördlich des Tunnels und direkt unterhalb der Festung. Es ist zugleich Restaurant, Lounge und Bar. Die Ausstattung ist schlicht und modern. Viele Tische befinden sich direkt an den bodentiefen Fenstern mit bestem Blick hinauf zur Festung. Die Speisekarte wird in Form von Tablets gereicht, bestellt wird aber traditionell. Es gibt eine umfangreiche und typische Auswahl an japanischen Spezialitäten. Wir waren zu Dritt zum Abendessen hier und hatten eine entsprechende Vielfalt an Suppen, Vorspeisen, Sashimi, Sushi, etc. bestellt. Alle Speisen waren sehr lecker, der Fisch wie er sein muss - absolut frisch. Auch der Service war tadellos. Die Preise sind für einen Japaner fair und kaum höher als anderswo in der Stadt. Ambiente piccolo e coccolo, accoglienza del cliente con un attimo servizio, poi però i piatti si fanno un po’ attendere. Il cibo è buono, presentato in maniera curata e con porzioni un po’ più abbondanti rispetto ad un all you can eat, peró nonostante questo il prezzo sui piatti si fa sentire. Io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati a cena in un giorno infrasettimanale, locale comunque pieno, abbiamo speso circa 40 euro a testa. Peccato che 1 singolo nigiri costasse 2,50 euro. La qualità comunque nel pesce c’è. Non ho trovato parcheggio privato del ristorante però non ci sono problemi nel trovarlo nelle vie vicine.
