Aquí probé un panzzerotto que casi hace que se me saltaran las lágrimas al trasladarme a mi pueblo, de adolescente, donde también había una pizzería italiana que los hacía y en aquel entonces yo, en alguna noche fría de sábado, con una mano ocupada por esa deliciosa masa frita y en la otra un asquerosísimo Ron Cola al que había que ir cogiendo costumbre a la fuerza... Cerraba los ojos mientras mordía otro trozo que chorreaba aceite con burbujas humeantes de jamón y queso y me juraba que algún día iría a Italia, a ver la tierra tan maravillosa que había inventado semejante manjar e hincarle el diente por todos los costados a la bota más deliciosa del mundo.

Y aquí se cerró el círculo.

PD: El restaurante de mi pueblo no cerró, pero cambió de dueños, que trataron de continuar con el éxito de los panzzerottos pero haciéndolos más pequeños y más caros. Y nadie los volvió a pedir....
