What a superb couple of evenings we had here The beers on offer speak for themselves, a great atmosphere for drinks and relaxing with food. We have been to Munchen Augustina Beer Keller many times but the food here is much better …. It’s amazingly good, great sized portions and fantastic value . We ate here one night and came back it was so good, we can recommend the Schweinehaxen ( OMG - the crackling is to die for ) and the Schweine ribs both served with gorgeous skin on fries or the chilli with giant pretzel …. And the pizzas are huge , delicious and great value. Thomas , the manager is such a nice and friendly guy, recommending the best dishes for you . You won’t be disappointed. This place is such a gem , it’s tucked away in one of the main shopping arcade streets with a few tables on the street and plenty more in the main restaurant and a beer garden in the rear. We were only here for 3 nights in Merano and this was place was our first dinner and beer experience …. We were so impressed we came back for more....

Disappointing ....failed delivering food of a table of four together at the same time. Staff only realised dishes were missing after we asked . A 50% failure rate to deliver all ordered meals at a similar time.. ..... Good service looks different and would realise as soon as only two dishes arrive at the table, confirm with customer and kitchen and take action. Good service also would offer a discount for the failed service without the need to ask for it. Great service takes ownership of a failed customer experience to make it great again. Shouldn't be rocket sience to serve a table all meals at the same time as a restaurant....seems like that would be a core business practice of a restaurant. Wouldn't go back or recommend. Plenty of better alternatives in town to go out for an...

Such appalling service. Only one of two meals arrived and our rude and ignorant waiter could not care less. After some time, we asked about the missing meal - and again two more times only to be ignored. After about 30 mins without any update, we gave up and asked for the bill. After paying we asked for the manager to complain about the service only to find the manager was actually our waiter. The rest of the staff were lovely - but we would never recommend this place to anyone unless they want to be ignored and not fed. We we lucky a pizza place was still open nearby - this was superb, with lovely people and food. We told our new server about the previous experience and they even gave us a free shot of the local liquor. Try...
