Kunst Meran — Attraction in Burggrafenamt - Burgraviato

Nice and small art exhibition space in the center of Merano. We went to the Studio Other Spaces exhibition during September 2020 and it was surprisingly interesting. However, unfortunately due to corona, the implementation of the virtual reality installations was very difficult, and took quite a bit of time to set it all up before we could experience it. Maybe have this kind of technology not integrated during a pandemic, when you have to be super careful about not touching anything (complicated with VR headsets), and stick to regular, frame or sculpture...

Dopo aver cercato una città da visitare nel Sud Tirolo, durante il nostro soggiorno, la scelta è ricaduta su Merano città ricca di attrazioni e cose da vedere. Il tempo era dalla nostra parte. Altro motivo era l'apertura di martedì (per nulla scontata) del Museo di Arte Contemporanea e del Castello Principesco di Merano al centro della città . L'ingresso del Museo da sulla via dei portici, quella bella giornata molto affollata. Il museo Kunst Meran si estende in altezza su tre piani. Le scale e un ascensore permettono la visita a tutte le tipologie di visitatore. In questo periodo ospita la mostra Earthly Communities. Le comunità della terra. La mostra porta avanti tematiche universali come il diritto alla terra, l'anticolonialismo, il rispetto delle minoranza indigene, l'ecologia e l'ambiente, la giustizia sociale, la critica alla società neo liberista dei consumi e l'antiimperialismo.
