Pizzeria Ristorante Gaston — Restaurant in Burggrafenamt - Burgraviato

The place was the only one we could find to accommodate five people during prime dinner time. Once seated the friendly waitress took our orders right away - no wait there. One of us ordered a pizza which came about five minutes later and tasted quite good. Unfortunately, the others had to wait much longer for their food. Three of us had the Knödel Tris and were happy enough to finally get our teeth into something when they finally arrived. The different tastes of the three dumplings were not clearly discernible but overall they were OK - I definitely had better ones before.

Atmosphere is not great since the place is located within a shopping arcade and there's nothing to make it cozy when you sit outside. Inside didn't look much better. Value for money is OK - as we found out...

Pizza war gut und die Qualität der Beläge ist exzellent. Service ist gut! Aber: Der Boden der Pizza in der Mitte ist leider nicht richtig duch gewesen. Bei hoher Stückzahl von zubereitenden Pizzen ist der "Boden" des Ofens wahrscheinlich nicht heiß genug. Beilagensalat zu teuer. Man bekommt eine kleine Schüssel Salat ohne Dressing. Wird leider vorher auch nicht danach gefragt, ob und was für ein Dressing man mag. Auf den Tisch steht Olivenöl und Balsamico. Aber nur mit diesen beiden Zutaten kann man kein Balsamico-Dressing machen. Dazu gehört mehr und das gehört von der Küche einfach dazu. Kalb mit Reis war leider bis auf das Fleisch nicht stimmig. Einfach gekochter Langkornreis passt irgendwie gar nicht dazu oder man müsste ihn mit paar Kräutern und bissel Knoblauch einen mediterranen Anstrich geben. So ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht da. Spaghetti Bolognese war leider keine Spaghetti Bolognese, sondern Hackfleischsauce, wobei das Hackfleisch diesen typischen Industriegeschmack hatte. Getränkepreise sind meiner Meinung extrem überteuert. 5,50 Euro für Softdrinks. Gerade mit Kindern eine absolute Kostenfalle. Pizza kann man aber auch To-Go bestellen... Pizzapreise sind in Ordnung. Rest zu teuer für angebotene Qualität....

This felt professional, and i mean the food and the service. The location ok, when its warm and you want to sit outside ... its in a hallway, can be windy, its not quiet. The inside was cozy but i understand everyone who doesnt want to sit there when it has 30+ celsius. I had the forest pizza which was delicious, as was the pasta dish (dont remember wich one). Just a place where i'd love...
