Ristorante All'anguilla — Restaurant in Caorle

This place clearly deserves to be called out as one of the top spots in Caorle.

We had seafood salad, calamari ai ferri, marinated sardines, sardines from the grill, gamberi ai ferri, and as a highlight, the grilled eel. I can highly recommend all of these dishes- only the gamberi required a fair bit of cleaning, and were overpriced for what we got. Definitely one of the best grilled eel I got for a long time.

The wine list deserves mentioning- not only local wines, but quite international, probably the most complete in this village... But still some local gems as well.

Service was efficient and friendly. We went for dinner with two children and a baby, but we felt well received and were greeted with many smiles from the staff.

Edit: we asked for a table at the street for two adults, a kid and a baby with a trolly. A waiter sent us to the back street. We were confused but went there and asked again a waiter there for a table for four and pointed to an empty table with room fir the trolly. She seemed to agree and even brought us cover/cuperto. Suddenly a very angy waiter appeard and started screaming with us in italian.

I'm a guest in your country and also in your restaurant and I respect this. You did not at all show any respect, yelled at me, my wife and my kids. Why? Because of an misunderstanding that you just could tell us.

The waitress told us 1 oyster is 3,5€, but finally they account 6€/pcs and they told us its our mistake however we had spoken 3 languages but the waitress maybe 1. It was really embarassing and finally we payed the bills because we were there with 2 kids, butI do not recommend to anyone. The oyster was middle class and the ret of the food was a bit above of the low quality. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Answer: Actually your restaurant wasn't as special and I ate cheaper and better oyster before, its not as a big deal...and I asked 3 times the price and you or your employee answered 3 times 3,5€, its not me who made a mistake.
