Pizz'Art — Restaurant in Caserta

We were recommended to visit this restaurant by a person who lives locally. When we arrived there were only a few tables with customers. There were many open tables. We are Americans and only speak a little Italian. We asked for a table for two. He took us by all the nice tables and sat us next to the kitchen. We politely asked if he could place us at another table..a little away from the kitchen. He then brought us to a table next to the bathroom. Why would he do this? Because we don't speak italian? We turned around and walked away. This arrogance and possibly the quality of the food..we do not know...must be why the restaurant was near empty. During our three week trip to Italy, this was the most unpleasant restaurant experience we have had. If the rude host ever decides to come to America, I hope he is treated with kindness instead of rude arrogance such as he treated us. You do not deserve even a one star!...

Highly disappointing. Came for lunch, so restaurant wasn't too busy. Waited 1/2 hour for an a plate of mozzarella di bufala and prosciutto and some french fries to be delivered. After waiting for over 45 mintues for three pizzas to be delivered to the table and being told they hadn't even started cooking them yet, decided to pay the bill and get the pizzas to go. When the owner asked how things were and we told him how slow the service was, he shrugged his shoulders and walked off. When we got home and opened the pizza box, the pizza looked like someone had stuck their finger through it. Didn't bother to eat it, so can't tell you if it was good or not. Mi spiace dover fare questa recensione, semplicemente perché il mio compagno ha aperto da poco un’attività di ristorazione e so cosa significa stare dietro ai clienti rompiscatole, e la fatica che ci vuole dietro ogni piccola cosa. Purtroppo però questo non giustifica il servizio veramente di basso livello che ho ricevuto io ieri sera. Mi reco in questa trattoria dopo che mi è stata consigliata da una collega, ed anche perché si trova praticamente appena sotto il mio B&B per cui per me sarebbe stata estremamente comoda per pranzare e cenare lì tutti i giorni durante la mia permanenza. il cibo è anche buono, i prezzi nella media, ma intanto l’attesa a mio avviso piuttosto lunga nonostante non ci fossero chissà quanti tavoli. Quando mi è arrivata la tagliata di carne, avevo ancora davanti il piatto vuoto dell’antipasto che non mi era mai stato tolto, la ragazza, sicuramente nuova, cosa ha ben pensato di fare? Mi ha letteralmente dato il piatto con la carne tra le mani e solo in un secondo momento mi ha sbarazzato il tavolo, per giunta dimenticandosi di riportarmi le posate pulite, quindi immaginate me che avevo il piatto di carne davanti e non poter mangiare per circa cinque minuti poiché mi mancavano le posate e nessuno era lì intorno per chiederle. Tagliata di carne per giunta arrivata con i pomodorini che avevo richiesto non esserci. Morale della favola ho mangiato la carne, porzione anche abbastanza scarna, che ormai si era fatta fredda. La carne fredda non si può magnà, scusate. Avevo molta fame avendo aspettato anche un po’ e quindi l’ho mangiata comunque…. Ma onestamente capisco che la ragazza era nuova e probabilmente non sarà neanche stata formata a dovere, quindi la colpa credo sia sua fino ad un certo punto, però che cavolo almeno le basi… Cioè, puoi far stare un cliente con il piatto di carne in mano e poi non portargli neanche le posate per mangiare? Ma che è .. 😂 A malincuore non ci tornerò più, perché credetemi io non sono particolarmente esigente anzi sono sempre molto comprensiva proprio perché ribadisco so cosa significa, ma ieri sera sono andata via davvero...
