No Fresh Fish!!!

We waited for 5 minutes standing next to 2–3 waiters, clearly showing interest in dining here, because the menu looked promising and the restaurant looked nice. All the waiters seemed to ignore us. They weren’t busy or anything—just completely oblivious to new customers waiting to be seated.

It wasn’t until my girlfriend said hi to a waiter standing half a meter away from us that he finally acknowledged us. We asked if they had a table for two, and were finally seated.

The menu looked promising, as I said. We ordered the “catch of the day starter,” which unfortunately was not fresh. It had salmon, tuna, squid, and some unidentified fish. The squid might have been fresh, but the others were definitely not. A false start, but we still had hopes for the main course.

We ordered the fried calamari and the frutti di mare. And—yes, you guessed it—not fresh either. The calamari was tasteless and far too chewy. It also didn’t come with any vegetables, so we had to order an extra side. The frutti di mare was also bland. My girlfriend could barely eat half her plate.

Very, very disappointing—especially considering you’re literally in a harbor! All the other nearby bars have fresh fish on display, but this place is just cashing in on unsuspecting tourists like us who had faith in the nice terrace and menu.

Big shame. Never coming back, and hopefully this review saves a few people from making the same...

Very good starter (tuna Tatar) - high quality and great taste, melted on your tong. Main course a little small, very good taste, but not a lot of fish. To be honest we didn’t even see the fish first, even though the dish was called: „Pasta with Cath of the day“.

They only have wine in a bottle, but we asked just for a glass and they made it for us. The waiters are all very very friendly and nice.

All in all a little expensive for what you get, I‘d say. We payed 16€ for the main (with a tiny bit of fish hidden in the sauce), 18€ for Tatar (fair), 6€ for a glass of wine, 2,50€ for cola, 2,50€ 1l of Water, Coperto 2€ p.P.. So 49€ for a main and a starter..

beh, che dire.. pessima esperienza e pessima cena. parto dall’arrivo degli antipasti: abbiamo preso la pepata di cozze (unico piatto che salvo tra tutti quelli assaggiati) e la degustazione del giorno, poco spazio sul tavolo per poterli appoggiare e al livello di gusto la degustazione non aveva sapore ed era quasi gelida (molto differente da un piatto appositamente freddo). A seguire abbiamo preso le Busiate allo scoglio e il polpo croccante su tornino di patate, le busiate erano molto indietro a livello di cottura, tanto che non sono riuscita a mangiarle, il polpo invece era insipido, per non parlare del tortino di patate che non sapeva di niente ed era evidente la mancanza di sale. finiamo la cena con due amari e caffè, chiediamo il dolcificante e da due camerieri ci viene detto “non so cos’è, vado a chiedere” per poi sentirci dire che non lo avevano, mi dirigo verso la cassa a pagare e DOPO AVER PAGATO, mi preoccupo di informare chi di dovere della mia esperienza negativa, dato che nessuno, né durante il servizio, né alla cassa si preoccupa di chiedermi se il servizio fosse andato bene e se il cibo era stato di nostro gradimento. Parlo con un ragazzo (che mi ha fatto pagare il conto) e ad un certo punto si mette in mezzo una signora, la informo della mia esperienza e di quello che non era andato bene durante il servizio, preciso, non per avere uno sconto, dato che AVEVO GIÀ PAGATO, ma per una critica costruttiva per migliorarsi. Con una grande maleducazione, la signora che ipotizzo essere stata la responsabile, dopo il mio racconto del servizio mi stringe la mano e mi dice “arrivederci” senza nemmeno preoccuparsi di SCUSARSI, date le ovvie mancanze basilari per la ristorazione. Un esperienza che ritengo essere stata molto negativa sia per quanto riguarda il cibo sia per il servizio. A prescindere da tutto possono capitare le “ giornate no” ciò non toglie che qualora queste giornate si verificassero, è cosa BUONA E GIUSTA scusarsi, a maggior ragione se le cose sono andate oggettivamente nel...
