Cutì Ristorante Pizzeria American Bar — Restaurant in Catania

Three of us went there and all three of us had terrible meals. In short, walk out of this place turn left, walk about 2 minutes and eat there or anyone else.

Pizza was soggy and disgusting. Cheese was too moist and ruined the pizza. Other friend got pasta, and the noodles looked grey and translucent. It honestly looked like dog food and tasted terrible.

I got the grilled seafood sampler platter. The 2 shrimp I got we're ok. The calamari was the toughest I've ever tried to eat and the swordfish was over cooked and dry. I think the last two things were probably Frozen and not fresh.

We also got the octopus which felt fresh but was overcooked and charred. The mashed potatoes it was on were mixed with lemon juice? How can you mess up mashed potatoes.

3 people asked us if our food was ok, we told 3 people it wasn't.

We walked out without any kind of solution and then I hit my head on the board just at the entrance of the restaurant.

There is literally nothing to like about this...

The dining experience fell short of expectations. While the food was decent, it didn't quite reach the level of excellence one might anticipate. Despite the potential for a stunning view, our disappointment grew when we were assigned the least desirable table, despite the fact that there were other free tables available - this was especially puzzling given that they had several better tables even when we finished dinner. Regrettably, we found ourselves neglected by the waitstaff for an extended period, an oversight that felt discourteous and inattentive. Questa è la mia esperienza: Ho prenotato con the fork per il 30 agosto (giorno in cui suonava una band), scrivendo nelle note "gentilmente vicino alla band" proprio perché noi eravamo andati lì solo perché volevamo assistere al concerto. Arriviamo al ristorante e scopriamo che ci sono due sezioni, sopra ristorante e sotto pizzeria (dove suonava la band). Dunque scendiamo sotto e diciamo il cognome con cui avevamo prenotato il tavolo, ci dicono che non hanno tavoli a tale nome, che con the fork si prenota solo al ristorante e che avremmo dovuto scrivere "pizzeria", che a mio parere si equivale a "gentilmente vicino alla band". In ogni caso rinunciamo al posto vicino alla band. Dunque la nostra idea, che coincideva con quella del capo sala, era di mangiare velocemente e poi scendere a vedere la band dato che c'erano dei divanetti in cui potersi sedere. Qui arriva il bello. Saliamo sopra, zona ristorante, chiediamo il tavolo che avevamo prenotato e ci viene detto che "durante gli eventi non controlliamo the fork", io ovviamente sono rimasta spiazzata e ho risposto che una persona non può saperlo. Dopo qualche minuto ci sistema un tavolo in mezzo (che tra l'altro era il tavolo dove completavano le pizze), ordiniamo quasi subito perché volevamo andare a vedere la band ma sfortunatamente le pizze arrivano dopo un'ora e dieci minuti. Si fanno le 23:10. Arrivano le pizze, qualità medio-bassa, la "mozzarella" era priva di gusto, la Maracanà aveva quattro fette di patate al forno e un nodo di salsiccia spezzettato e messo sulla pizza (poco condimento per la Maracanà che tra l'altro era anche bruciata), le altre pizze tutto sommato, oltre la mozzarella insapore, erano ben condite. Alle 23:40 finiamo di mangiare, paghiamo, e scendiamo sotto per vedere gli ultimi 10 min di concerto.
