Amazing food when we got it. The process is confusing and no signage or help for non Italian speaking customers. You take a ticket from the machine and then wait to be called. Then you order from the counter. There is no menu except for the pasta, the rest is like ordering at a fish monger. I’ve got no idea how you know how it’s going to be cooked. Wait to collect your drink and then sit down. You get given a buzzer so you know when to collect your food but they also shout your name out and our buzzer never went off. I will repeat that the food was amazing but it’s not a relaxing sit down meal. Then when you’re done you go back to the counter for a receipt. Then you go to a different counter to pay. Get a number at the machine at the door. Tavalo if you are dining in; the other option if doing take away. Wait for your number to be called, and then go place your order, including drinks. Be sure to have a good look at the options under glass first, and check out the pasta menu displayed on the glass.

They will give you silverware and such, and then you can choose a table, if dining in. Listen for your name, given when you place your order, and then go up and get the delicious food.

Volete mangiare il pesce più buono e più fresco di tutta Catania e provincia? Volete mangiare tutto fresco e genuino nel rispetto delle antiche tradizioni siciliane? Volete trovarvi in un locale davvero alla moda fronte mare? No non state sognando! Tutto questo e molto altro l'ho trovato qui da Carlo... Sinceramente all'inizio dalla strada (passando con l'auto) credevo fosse un bar, ma fortunatamente mi sbagliavo! Poi l'ambiente è davvero casalingo, io mi sono veramente sentito a casa! Tengono molto alla pulizia, l'ho notato dal bagno pulito nonostante la confusione... Il tavolo non può essere prenotato ed il tempo di attesa può arrivare anche ad 1 ora... Però credetemi avrei anche aspettato due ore pur di sedermi ed assaggiare un po' di tutto! L'insalata di mare favolosa! Perché gli spiedini di pesce spada? E cosa dire delle telline senza nemmeno un granello di sabbia? Assurdo davvero eppure non ho trovato un granello di sabbia nelle telline! Adoro le telline ma ovunque sono stato in questi anni ho sempre trovato sabbia, oppure il prodotto non fresco! Ma da Carlo tutto fresco e buonissimo! Potrei scrivere sino a domani, invece preferisco inserire delle foto, così capirete di cosa parlo... Comunque il servizio d'asporto è abbastanza rapido, perché è una fila diversa rispetto ai tavoli, tempo di attesa medio 15 minuti per l'asporto...
