We fell for the reviews and tried this place. I've had great octopus in my life and this was nowhere near it. The octopus was just a tad warm, grilled, the legs were fried. You can't even eat the whole octopus because of the gelatinous skin. Futhermore its hard to even slice it I gave up The mashed potatoes next to it - cantina style. My boyfriends linguine was just ok. I'd say dont bother and skip it.

Provato con esperienza però non tanto entusiasmante.. La qualità c’è però ho trovato anche alcune lacune che si possono migliorare. Abbiamo optato per il menù fisso a 35 euro sotto consiglio del cameriere. Antipasto di crudo a primo impatto bello da vedere se non per una pecca,il tonno che era un po’ andato a male e dava un sapore non gradevole infatti pure nella foto si può notare una parte fresca e una parte più scura,stessa identica cosa nell’antipasto di cotto tutto buono ma sempre stesso problema del tonno,che possibilmente era lo stesso servito prima… Frittura mista abbondante ma la pastella del gambero non fatta per bene,linguine allo scoglio buone ma non era amalgamato bene con gli ingredienti. Spero di ritornare per poter dare un giudizio migliore,perché la qualità c’è anche se qualcosa non è stato buono altre cose invece le ho trovate ottime e fresche e vorrei poter dare un voto migliore. Servizio veloce anche se c’era poca affluenza. E infine un ottimo giudizio sulla location davvero bella da vedere e molto confortevole.

L'esperienza con la trattoria del lago è stata una delle migliori,sin da subito siamo stati accolti da un personale super educato ,disponibile e soprattutto preparato ,abbiamo scelto di assaggiare il menù che comprende gli antipasti crudi e cotti e un primo a testa con acqua e vino bianco della casa . Rimasti sorpresi dalla bontà e dalla freschezza dei crudi e dalla bontà e dalla croccantezza della frittura .le cozze deliziose e i primi abbondanti e corposi con ottimo sughetto denso e saporito PS il pane spettacolare ,ne abbiamo approfittato ,tra l'altro a tavola non si rimane mai senza acqua vino pane ,per un attenzione maniacale per il cliente che non cade mai in scortesia o troppa confidenza ,insomma un locale da premiare assolutamente ,abbiamo infine finito il nostro pranzo con un bel sorbetto di anguria fresco e saporito e del caffe. Torneremo sicuramente per assaggiare i secondo piatti ,complimenti allo staff e al cuoco. I servizi cosa non da poco erano puliti e splendenti ampi e profumati ,cosa non da poco

We were on a 12 days holidays in Catania, during which we wanted to discover different seafood restaurants. We came at Trattoria Del Lago one evening and the experience was so good that we came back every evening of the rest of our stay in Catania. The seafood is simply the best and freshest we ate in Catania. The service is so friendly and the price is just too unbelievable for such quality of food (and wines) and generous portions. We love seafood and we had the chance to enjoy dinners and lunches at other very good restaurants in Catania. But to us, Trattoria Del Logo is by far the better deal. I came to check the reviews after having dinner here!I can see most of the reviews are good but for other things rather than pizza!So we went for a takeaway for a restaurant next door,but because they didn’t had pizza we went for this restaurant.Big mistake…i ordered 2 capriciosa pizza with slightly different toppings that i was used to!I was very disappointed with the quality of the pizzas!Beeing quite late and didn’t have anything else to eat,we ate them,but only cause we were hungry!If you feel rich and trow money on the window go here,but if you want to eat a good pizza go...
