While we got decent service (could be better though for trying to be a higher level dining location). Food was not good at all. Caprese salad left much to be desired in taste and presentation. Meatballs (recommended by the waiter) was dry, and the taste was less than acceptable - felt like it was the lower end quality of minced meat. Our other order was risotto topped with pink shrimp - while the shrimp was nicely done, the risotto was completely undercooked. Shameful that a restaurant in Italy couldn't even get that right. We didn't want to send it back for fear of waiting too long for a replacement. We were too scared to order dessert as we didn't want to be further disappointed by a restaurant posing to be good but with sub quality servings.

Location was lovely of course, but doesn't make up for the lackluster food. If you sit outside and are a non-smoker, your evening could be ruined if the wind was in your direction and bringing second hand smoke to your dinner table.

While I know other patrons' behaviour is not within control of the restaurant, small child yelling for food at the next table is not becoming of an outfit this restaurant tries to be, especially if the parents don't seem to think that the disturbance to others...

I am truly astonished by how terrible this place was. The food was actually not edible. The meat (veal, pork, chicken - ALL three) tasted like they were bad. The pork belly tasted like boiled meat. The fry oil must have been rancid because everything cooked in it was foul. I don’t want to be mean bc I know this is someone’s livelihood, but it’s really not okay to serve food like this. It was not just one bad item. It was everything we ordered. From the salad, to the pizza, to the entrees - all inedible and honestly shocking that anyone thinks it’s acceptable to serve food like this. On top of that, the live music was horrendous. There was some sad young singer using recorded music and singing (rather, yelling) over it. Belting out terrible covers of songs. And it was insanely loud! Could not hear each other speak a few inches away. All around a truly awful experience. It’s our first night in the area and we are ready to run back to the alps if this is any reflection of...

Location is top. Raviolone with tartufo is very good. Pasta con vongole was so so. Pizza is good. Cocktails are very good - barmen know very well what they do. Most of waiters really would like to make your food/drink experience comfort. One of my favourite places around Como today. I was in Onda 3 times already. Why 3 stars? 1. My cocktail was served in a broken glass. After I asked to manage the situation, they just poured the rest of my cocktail to another glass😂 I even got a feeling of guilt that I couldn’t drink from a broken glass😂 2. When serve only for drinks, they give you a “naked” table: no tissues, no coasters under glasses. After 5 minutes you sit at dirty table, water is dripping from your glass on the table, on your clothes. Your hands are dirty and you can’t clean them because there’s no tissue. I will definitely come again, I recommend it to my friends but I can’t be sure that absolutely everyone...
