DRIVER Como — Restaurant in Como

Very nice and well decorated place, was amazed at entrance with a bus and a truck inside the restaurant. We were the first to arrive, so expected a fast service, it was strange at the beginning when we barely had time to look at the menu and there were 2 services watching us, and even when we didn't finished to llok everything they had, they already came to ask what we wanted. We ask just 1 or 2 minutes to check menu and then was fast till the food came. After the chaos. Only a few people serving, for a restaurant that start to get full. We were sitted in the top corner and was never no one checking if we need something else or even if it's everything good. After some good 45m waiting I decided to get up and talk to someone about dessert menu. They came after 2m, dessert took another good 15m to come. 3m and we were done. Another 15m to ask for coffee. Per farla molto breve, ci tengo a precisare che non ho mai lasciato una recensione, e non pensavo che alla mia prima volta, essa fosse così negativa, ma purtroppo diamo a Cesare quel che è di Cesare.

Preso l’ordine, dopo circa 16/17min, arrivano al tavolo dicendo che un piatto che avevamo ordinato non è più disponibile, nessun problema cambiamo, ma passano non meno di 2 min e si presentano al tavolo con tutto il food ordinato, tranne che il piatto che proprio adesso avevamo cambiato perché non era più disponibile.

La domanda adesso è: È normale che in tavolo tutti i commensali vengono serviti ed uno no? È normale che l’accorgimento da parte dello STAFF ( Sala o Cucina ) della non disponibilità di un piatto ordinato avvenga 20min dopo? È normale che il tavolo ha terminato di mangiare tutti i suoi piatti e dopo altri 5 min il piatto mancante non è ancora arrivato, stiamo parlando di una Pizza Margherita ? ( in tutto questo sono passato ALTRI 15 min o poco meno ).

Naturalmente la nostra permanenza non si poteva protrarre ancora a lungo, perché da parte nostro il tutto era a dir poco imbarazzante e il bambino, in nostra compagnia cominciava ad accusare la stanchezza, ci siamo alzati e abbiamo pagato il conto.

Arrivato alla cassa la cameriera, ci annuncia che la pizza è pronta, e ci dice come è giusto che sia se vogliamo portarla a casa. Naturalmente no, impazientita dice allora se la deve buttare, di certo non so se normalmente fanno così, ma più che altro consiglio di venderla ad un altro tavolo, o magari regalarla ad un vostro ospite, che magari in quel momento sta aspettando, magari se uno se va scontento riuscite a farne contento qualcun altro, almeno spero.

La ragazza presente alla cassa, scusandosi e dandoci ragione , prova se ad esso poteva essere applicato uno sconto per il disagio. Esso non è avvenuto per decisione dall’alto, magari perché eravamo giovani, o perchè a loro poco importa del cliente, l importante è il conto a fine serata.

Adesso Signori miei non sono i soldi il problema o per lo meno quei pochi soldi di sconto che potevano essere sottratti, è il gesto, è la preoccupazione per un disagio creato a chi quella sera voleva fare tutto, tranne che stare nervoso.

Per quanto il cibo sia buono, un pessimo servizio e la zero sensibilità per un eventuale inconveniente causato ad un ospite, porta si che l’ospite del buon cibo ricorderà ben poco, ricorderà solo il resto, ricorderà la...

We’ve been in the restaurant with relatives and friends and we chosen to sit in the old characteristic American bus.

Immediately we had to faced. the “kids menu problem” due to the rigid policy of the restaurant: kids have to choose or a complete menu (spaghetti or gnocchi (!!?!), hamburger or cotoletta (made of grinded chicken meat), ice cream, drink) or an adult menu. So in both of case the kids have to eats too much food with the result they don’t eats all.

Generally speaking the food is not good except for the hamburger. My ‘picanha’ was really stringy and not so tasty, the bbq ribs was too much spiced and too much cooked, french fries was nothing special.
