Ristorante-Pizzeria Centrale — Restaurant in Comunità Alto Garda e Ledro

We went here based on the good reviewies but were really dissapointed. MyIt started when my friend ordered a 0.4L fanta beacuse she sepcifically wanted more than a can. I ordered a regular can of soda, we both got the same glass mine just came empty (except the ice) and I poured the can in myself. The "0.4L" fanta is exactly as much as a reuglar can just more expensive. For food I got a pizza crudo which was alright, the dough was good, nice and thin but the toppings were not good quality (the grana slices tasted of absolutely nothing). My friend got the "Tris della casa", a variation of three pasta dishes. The ravioli were alright but nothing special, the tagliatelle were overcooked and the sauce was again anything but special. The worst of the bunch were the strozzapretti, which she was looking forward too the most. There was no sauce, the strozzapretti themselves had a weird conistency and no taste (My guess is that they are not selfmade but bought packaged). We had strozzapretti a couple of times in the week before, which we spent in the trentino mountains and the difference was...

We were there two years ago and we were really satisfied, pasta and pizza were both delicious. The place is also amazing. But yestrday we tried to wait for table and after hour in a row when we saw the staff we decided to change the restaurant for this dinner. I know it was Friday evening and there were lots of people, but in this time restaurant has to expect customers and even if there were enough staff, the waitresses were terribly slow and looks really unorganised. There were five free table but they weren't able to prepare them for new customers in 20 minutes. Maybe they know the restaurant will full either.... it is a pity, I belive the food will be great again, but waitresses makes big part of impression to the customers and they should look like they try to do their best for customers, as lots of us try to do in our jobs :) But we definitelly will try it again during next...

Worst customer service ever! Absolutely appalling. My main complaints are:

1. The waitress was rude from the minute we walked through the door, rolling her eyes whenever we wanted to order something.
2. The staff commented on the fact we were late for our reservation!!! Complete lack of professionalism!

As we were dissatisfied, to say the least, we complained to the manager of the restaurant, and she was even MORE rude than her employees.

Italy is famous for its hospitality and good food. If that’s what you are looking for, I strongly recommend omitting this place...
