This was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The service was beyond atrocious—completely incompetent and borderline disrespectful.
From the moment we sat down, it was clear the staff had no clue how to properly take an order. We were a table of seven, trying to order starters, and before we had even finished, food was already being thrown onto the table. One of our guests didn’t order a starter and specifically told the staff this, yet their main meal arrived alongside the starters—completely out of sync with the rest of the table. By the time everyone else’s mains arrived, theirs was stone cold. Basic coordination was clearly too much to ask. There was also a severe hygiene issue, as one of our starters had hair baked into one of the cheese balls.
The rudeness of the staff was next-level. Not only were they unaccommodating to simple requests, but the attitude we received was unacceptable. To make matters worse, one of our guests—who happens to be female—ordered a beer, and the waiter made openly sexist remarks about it, as if a woman drinking beer was something outrageous. In what world is this kind of behavior acceptable? Being in Europe, we did not expect such a third world response to something so simple.
And then, the final insult—an absolutely ridiculous service charge for the use of knives and forks. Yes, you read that right. Apparently, eating steak with utensils is now a luxury that comes with a price tag. I’ve eaten in restaurants all over, and I have never encountered something so absurd. Service charges are supposed to reflect good service, and considering how appalling our experience was, there’s no way we would have paid it anyway.

Unfriendly staff: we arrived around 17:10 as reserved, the guy who led us to the table was unfriendly, he cant even be bothered to bring the menu( drinks, pizza) but wanted to take the order and there were only 2 cultery set/ napkins for 3 guests the whole time. The lady at the bar was arrogant, we ordered 2 bottles of water, she threw them on the table and left. The bill was thrown on the table again when she came at the end to take the payment. Food: Tasteless octopus salad , needed lots bosamic oil to be eaten. Seafood with noodle were big disappointment, mussels were not fresh at all….. the whole dish was sent back to the kitchen! Sitting: Empty in the restaurant but we sat at the small room where the staff rested and went in and out. Toliet: Female Toliet was full of used paper on the floor, no water...
Read more2 out of 5 - Most recent experience was not the one we expected and will probably not return. The restaurant undergone a massive revamp. Interior looks beautiful. However the food quality went below the average. Greasy snitzchel, average pizza and unexciting salad. Food came to table in random order, fries before main, salad was forgotten. The staff still can’t recommend a good wine, and don’t know what’s in offer.
Review from before 2023: Very strong 4! The restaurant has great food. Strong on their meat: both veal schnitzel and steaks 🥩. Really fresh and nicely cooked.
Their choice of other dishes is also very satisfying.
Good selection of wines and beer, but the waiter on the day couldn’t really give us any recommendations, that could be improved.
Other than that definitely worth visit. And make sure to book on weekends...
