What a shambles! Went this evening as a table of 4. After an initial wait of 20 minutes alongside other people wanting a table, we were eventually acknowledged, when other potential customers gave up and left, we were finally greated and sat at a table. Now before i go further, the restaurant was busy, however did not seem to be effectively managed with staff running around uncoordinated and unaware of customers needing attention. After another 20minutes of trying to get staff attention, we placed our order and were advised that pizza's, of which only 1 was ordered would be 20minutes. Our other meals arrived promptly which (in defence) were of great taste and presentation. 30minutes later however, still no pizza, yet everytime a staff member went past they cleared more and more of our table items away, it was as though they were actively trying to have us leave. We did remind them each time of the pizza, yet failed to show, despite other tables around us receiving theirs. Eventually after a total of 1.5hours we decided to cancel the order and leave. Again, little empathy or understanding from the staff. Although what did arrive was 5* worthy, dissappointingly because of the quality of service and mismanagement I would not return nor recommend. A 5*...
Read moretiramisu is the best, pastas are okay, the meat in carbonara was kind of a poor quality. I think there are some really good dishes but you have to carefully choose them. Pizza was okay but there are better places nearby. It is weird that you have to pay for the covering (?) on the table while there are no tissues or plates prepared for the oil and you have to ask and wait for everything. Only one of a few waiters was really nice and ready to explain things to us. The rest was reluctant to talk and describe various ingredients in the dishes, they even gave us the wrong information. Also, one of the waiters doesn’t know English, which is quite a strange thing in a tourist-friendly village. One thing that was horrible to me was that the moment the staff heard me and my fiancé talking in Polish, they changed their attitude immediately. They were not nice, very judgy. Such behavior is kinda racist. I would not recommend this place to somebody else, maybe only when it comes to tiramisu because it is truly out of this world. I can’t understand so many good opinions, because there are a lot of discouraging things. They have great potential but no...
Read moreThe food is indeed very good but not worthy the embarassement and frustration you might get from the service.... We came here with 2 families - 4 children, 4 adults - lots of tables free but we were kind of rude forced to be sitted in the last very very tiny room out of the restaurant. The lady (I think the manager) made me move when I was trying to make warmer to my frozen 4 year old on the free table with nice view - she kind of rude said the table is reserved - I said it’s no reservation sign I didnt know its reserved - you should ask! I heard.. Sure but there was noone at the door when we step in... we moved to this tiny cage and the service nightmare conituned...I asked waiter what kind of drinks for kids you have - he said impatiantly „vin brulle(!!?), tea, water” 🤯?! For a good sleep! ...I ordered tea and they brought a green tea for my 4 year old....of course she didnt drink it - try to give a green tea to a small little one who is cold and thirsty... A message for you - good food you can nowadays have here & there but the atmosphere you serve is the thing that make people come back... Definitely...
