Wine Bar The Cat and the Fox — Restaurant in Cremona

A horrible place! It's still for sure running only because of the waiter and the waitress who work there who are super nice people! The owner and the other dark waitress are the rudest human beings and they are so racist and they stole our money! Making us pay 7 euros each for a coffee of 1.80 and insulting us that do whatever you want I am not giving you back the money. Not to mention 5 other people had ordered drinks at our table, he was rudely shouting saying U should have ordered more but only after he made us pay and not while we were ordering! If this is not theft I don't know what it is! A pity for the beautiful atmosphere the owner is a the worst and refuses to give you a receipt of what U have eaten because he wants to take more money and he knows he will be in trouble with the police for charging more money and giving out the receipts. Horrible...

We just left there 5 minutes ago. It was one of the most horrible experiences. I can't believe a waiter and owner behave in that manner. We ordered a soup and a focaccia with vegetables. We noticed everything was disorganized from the start. Our soup arrived after 20 minutes and it was lukewarm. We asked a male waiter after 40 minutes 3 times for our focaccia and he never looked us in the face. They continued to bring foccacvie to people who arrived 20 min after us but not ours. We finally asked the owner who literally bit our head off and spoke horribly. I honestly do not recommend...

Premessa: è con vera amarezza che sono costretta a scrivere queste parole poiché la location aveva un potenziale pazzesco ma... Abbiamo prenotato nel pomeriggio di una triste domenica cremonese un tavolo per 8 persone per l'orario di aperitivo, ore 18. Al momento della prenotazione non è stato chiesto se fosse un aperitivo o cena. Ci rechiamo al posto notando lo stile ed arte davvero spiccata, accentuata da oggetti vintage. Nel nostro tavolo erano presenti anche persone anziane. Una gentile ragazza prende l'ordine ma poco dopo si avvicina il proprietario sibilando qualcosa allo zio della mia amica. Ci viene comunicato che avremmo dovuto lasciare a breve il tavolo perchè non avevamo consumato drinks e che non avevamo ordinato nulla dalla cucina. La tensione aveva ormai preso il comando di ogni nostro accenno di chiacchiere e la frenesia dei camerieri con qualche fugace parola aveva fatto intendere che da lì a poco avremmo dovuto sloggiare. Eravamo al limite. Da non sottovalutare che il personale, sotto il dominio del titolare, è vittima di non so quanto pressing psicologico con conseguenti traumi evidenti da O km. Scontato dire che non torneremo mai più, facile farsi scrivere recensioni positive e gonfie di sciocchezze da amichetti/e che si fingono intenditori come local guide o da turisti intrappolati nella rete del ragno. Solo un altro posto che da prova che lo schiavismo e la mal gestione sono ancora troppo potenti in Italia. Spero che tutto questo finisca presto e che la storia del gatto e la volpe abbia...
