Volevo e dovevo farlo da subito, poi sono passati10 mesi da quando siamo stati ospiti in questo hotel era l'epifania di questanno ed era un dovere e rispetto verso i gestori esprime qualche parola a riguardo. Prenotato da mia moglie a sorpresa, hotel di fronte alla stazione, beh..che bella scelta! Si perché nel mio immaginario c'è che la stazione normalmente è un posto frequentato da tanti tipi di gente talvolta non "bellissima". Invece, Domodossola ha una srazioncina carina, che si affaccia al corso pieno di negozi che porra in centro e dall'altro lato c'è l'hotel Eurossola, costruzione molto ben tenuta sia all'esterno sia all'interno con un arredamento della hall moderno e caldo accogliente. Le stanze moderne e ben tenute anch'esse ad un prezzo forse occasione molto buono rapportato al contesto generale. Ma quello che di Eurossola mi ha lasciato senza parole è il ristorante Bistrot. Sabato orario pranzo, siamo nella hall per decidere dove e cosa mangiare, tra le varie idee di tutti, ognuno proponeva qualcosa, ho pensato che saremmo stati a digiuno..invece.. Mia moglie vede nella hall la lavagnetta chebnon si era filato nessuno col menu del ristorante aperto al pubblico con tanto di prezzo e ce la fa notare, 3 4 scelte di primi come di secondi contorni dolci, insomma un menu turistico e, personalmente non vado d'accordo con questi menu, sono mediamente una presa in giro, ma... proviamo? Dai si! Entriamo nel ristorante bistrot e, bello, informale e caldo accogliente, un bel locale, personale all'accoglienza gentilissimo, quasi tutte ragazze, ci accomodiamo e ordiniamo le nostre scelte del menu. Non voglio continuare e scrivere un libro, stringo e, signori è difficile da credere e anche quando abbiamo pagato il conto, non credevamo. Preparazioni ottime, presentazione dei piatti ottima, porzioni della giusta abbondaza, tutto davvero ottimo, rapportato al prezzo non esager nel dire..ECCEZIONALE! E i piatti sono preparati nella cucina a vista da Giorgio in persona con il suo staff, e Giorgio non è un normale cuoco ma uno Chef con tanto di stellina Michelin che esprime nella sua massima esternazione nel ristorante Atelier, adiacente al Bistrot. La magia di questo menu turistico (?), la si può assaporare solo a pranzo fino al sabato, ma chissene..è sempre una magia. Forse qualcuno preso da questa recensione vorrà provare e rimarrà deluso in confronto al mio entusiasmo, ma lo stesso mio, lo hanno avuto le altre 5 persone del gruppo. Ich war für 12 Tage im Hotel um in Crodo zu arbeiten. Das Einzelzimmer ist schlicht aber ausreichend ausgestattet und hat ein großes Einzelbett. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Zudem liegt das Hotel super, direkt am Bahnhof und hinter dem Hotel gibt es gratis Parkplätze. Der Parkplatz ist etwas schwer zu finden, da man nicht intuitiv auf die Idee kommt die Einfahrt zu nehmen. Der Service und das Personal sind sehr nett, haben immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht und sind sehr hilfsbereit. Direkt gegenüber ist der Bahnhof und eine Busstation. Fußläufig kann man alles in Domodossola schnell erreichen und ein Coop Supermarkt ist direkt nebenan. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber für jeden ist was dabei. Typisch Italienisch halt. Was super ist, ist das Angebot abends im Bistro zu essen. Neben dem Restaurant Atelier (1 Michelin Stern) hat das Hotel noch das Bistro mit typischen Italienischen Gerichten und Pasta. Mittags hat das Bistro für alle geöffnet, abends nur für Hotelgäste. Neben der normalen Karte gibt es im Bistro jeden Tag ein wechselndes 3-Gänge Menü für 19 Euro. Man kann immer zwischen 3 verschiedenen Primi Piatti (Pasta und Risotto Gerichte) und je 3 Secondi Piatti (Fleisch, Fisch oder Salate) auswählen und zwischen mehreren Desserts. Zudem hat das Restaurant eine sehr gute und riesige vom Sommelier ausgewählte Weinkarte. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, da die Region zum Wandern sehr gut ist und die Natur wunderschön.

I was favorably impressed by Domodossola due to the comings and goings of tourists who I found, even in the hotel, very nice, welcoming, clean and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, as was the restaurant, we didn't have dinner, but it was very crowded and in my opinion come on dishes passed in front of me, the cuisine must also be excellent, with customers also from outside the hotel. Well organised, clean, comfortable. Excellent breakfast, with a choice of gluten-free starchy foods, and raw honey directly from the cells of the hive, delicious. A new experience. I wouldn't have expected this in Domodossola, ❤️ Sono rimasta favorevolmente colpita da Domodossola per il via vai di turisti che ho trovato, anche in albergo , molto carino, accogliente, pulito e confortevole, personale cordiale e disponibile, altrettanto il ristorante, non abbiamo cenato, ma era molto affollato e secondo me dai piatti che mi passati davanti anche la cucina dev'essere ottima, con clienti anche esterni all'albergo. Ben organizzato , pulito, confortevole. Ottima la colazione, con scelta di farinacei senza glutine, e miele grezzo direttamente nelle celline dell'arnia, buonissimo. Una nuova esperienza. Non me lo sarei aspettata a Domodossola, ❤️

We were quite charmed by this hotel across the road from Domodossolla station, the welcome was super friendly and the hotel itself was full of quirky stuff and lavish furnishings, the lounge was very inviting. Our room was well equipped, however the the bed was a bit basic. The bed linen and towels were good quality, the bathroom although smallish was well kitted out, enough space to put things and a nice walk in shower. Breakfast was exceptionally good, the breakfast room was lovely, and a very extensive buffet selection, the food was all very good quality, and the staff were all very nice. Unfortunately we were staying on a Monday so the restaurant wasn't open for dinner, we would have loved to have tried it. Domodossolla itself surprised us, it was just a stopover, but the few hours we had wandering around were very pleasant. |I'd really recommend this hotel for a short break, it's so convenient and the staff were...

Be warned, when you book Hotel Eurossola they may actually place you in an apartment completely detached from the hotel claiming you booked the "Dependance" which you have to walk to with your bags in a less desirable location which was poorly lit at night. When you use their website to book it appears you are going to be staying in this charming hotel, but we were shocked when they said we actually booked the "Dependance" and refused to put us in the hotel as they were apparently booked - which may be why we got relegated to this crummy apartment. We are seasoned travelers and have never experienced anything like this before. You will see on their website there is no mention of a Dependance option, you think you are booking a hotel room, then the word later appears on your confirmation after you've booked and is not something you'd ever expect or notice.
