A Major Disappointment in Sicily

I recently dined at this restaurant, and it was, without a doubt, the worst food experience we had during our trip to Sicily. We were excited to try some local flavors, but what we received was a huge letdown.

We ordered drinks along with some snack platters to share, and they looked nothing like what was advertised in the pictures. The ham was the cheapest option imaginable, and the cheese was completely tasteless. It felt like they just threw together whatever they could find without any thought to quality.

To make matters worse, another platter we ordered was so salty that it was inedible. We had no choice but to return it, which is not something we usually do.

On top of the disappointing food, the service was lacking as well. The waitresses seemed indifferent and unhelpful, which added to our overall frustration. We left feeling utterly disappointed and wishing we had chosen a different place to eat. I would not recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a genuine Sicilian...

Warning: Total rip-off! Ordered 3 coffees and 1 water: Price: €22.80 - they charged €3 per person for the cover charge! Water was served in a plastic cup. A very long wait to be served; service was also extremely unfriendly and inattentive. When we asked what the charge for 4 cover charges (a total of €12) was for, we received the answer: "Because we were sitting while drinking coffee." Premetto che il proprietario l’unico lavoro che può fare è andare a farsi un corso di educazione e accoglienza, prima di fare il ristoratore, questa la prima cosa. La seconda ci portano un menù ILLEGGIBILE. Ordiniamo un ragliere RUSTICO, composto da 3 panelle, 2 bruschette mignon, 4 pezzi di salame di terza scelta, 6 spicchi di provoletta e una caponata ( se caponata si poteva chiamare ), servita in una barchetta minuscola, il tutto per un prezzo super esagerato di €. 20. Altra ordinazione, un tagliere di salumi, con salumi discreti. Arriva al tavolo il tagliere di salumi, mentre aspettiamo il famoso RUSTICO, che non arrivava. Chiediamo al personale che fine aveva fatto e ci si che non lo avevamo ordinato, insistendo anche che NON lo avevamo ordinato, quindi dopo tanta insistenza lo mettono in produzione. Passano circa 20 minuti, mi alzo per sapere quanto tempo ci voleva ancora da aspettare per 3 panelle, 4 pezzi di salame, 6 strisce di provola e una caponata fantasma, risposta dal titolare, altri 10 minuti. PREMETTO CHE IL LOCALE NON ERA PIENO. Finiamo la consumazione e vado a pagare lamentandomi del ritardo del tagliere, risposto del titolare “ LEI CHE LAVORA FÁ ? “ 😡😡😡, per un tagliere ridicolo, ci vuole tanto, ma tanto tempo di preparazione.
