SfiziAmo Erice - La Rustichella — Restaurant in Erice

Ate here several times and have zero complaints.

I noticed some of the poor reviews cover seafood (not my thing so i didnt try & will not vouch) or burgers (unless this is your first time in Italy you should know better than to order a burger here... they just don´t know how to do it any more than Americans or Brits know how to cook pasta)

This place is an Italian fast-food joint, use it accordingly - stick to panini, arancini & pasta... I mostly stuck to the latter and each one i tried was delicious... Every. Single. Time. (shoutout to the pasta made with pistachios and another made with almonds... i forgot the names, but they were delicious, even when eaten out of a box).

Also - if you´re a foreigner, expect to find the pasta under-cooked... that´s the way they do it here. If pasta al dente isn´t to your liking then try asking upfront to...

We ordered 3 Cabucio Gambero Rosso and one 1 Cabucio Polpo (tried my Italian). The lady who took our order was more interested in my pronunciation other than what we ordered. The prawns were raw not half cooked but fully raw and cold. Maybe this is the way is should be but we asked them to cook it for us. The lady was rude and she was not happy with our request. My Polpo was simply paid but forgotten. I had to ask for it separately. I do not...

Proprio oggi cercavamo dove cenare con qualcosa di veloce, cerco su Google, e dalle foto del cibo e del menù abbiamo subito deciso di andare da loro. Non c'è bisogno di dire che parcheggiare ad Erice è pressoché impossibile, quindi io rimango in auto con i figli, mentre la moglie si avventura a piedi per raggiungere la fantomatica panineria. Al ritorno di mia moglie in auto la delusione totale!!!: 2 panini con panelle (non vi dico quant'era scura la frittura) la modica cifra di 6 euro... Una follia visto che a Palermo 2 panini con panelle e crocchè costano 3 euro quindi la metà, E vabbé! poi 1 panino con tonno pomodoro caciocavallo ed origano 4 euro e ci può stare...ma vogliamo, parlare del panino con il pulled pork, alla Modica cifra di 9 euro? Panino che se era 60gr eravamo fortunati, un pò di carne e cipolla, e per quanto è costato, neanche fatto al momento! Era già pronto (guardandolo almeno da ora di pranzo) riscaldato e via... Mi dispiace non aver pensato subito di far le foto... Mai più... Le foto del cibo quindi solo fumo, il menù, prezzi non ben...
