Il Punto — Restaurant in Fasano

We were really looking forward to visiting the restaurant, on a trusted recommendation.

We ordered a bottle of wine (Livio Felluga Terra Alte 2021) listed on the menu at 68 euros. When we received the bill, the wine was noted as 85 euros.

We pointed this out to the waiter, expecting that this was an honest mistake.

Unfortunately, the gentleman in the blue shirt (presumably the manager) then began to argue with us, coming back to show us his phone where he had found the wine online listed at a higher retail price. He tried to say that we had been charged 85 euros instead of what was listed on the menu because the market value of the wine has increased.

Of course, this is completely crazy - if you order something from the menu listed at a certain price, you pay that price. It’s not a marketplace where you expect to haggle when paying the bill.

Such a shame - this was the only time we experienced such behaviour in our time in Puglia. I very much hope that this is not the standard practice of...

Was given this as a recommendation from a local. We came here in December and the view was absolutely stunning. The service is what brings down the rating to three stars. the food is great the primi was very good the main courses were okay. The wine was good they only had one white wine by the glass supposedly. Will not come back again. Probably beautiful views in the summer. Slightly overpriced wait. We paid €64 for 2 primi and one second and three...

Naja. Service schlecht, draußen wird mit Pizza geworben restaurant bietet jedoch nur Meeresfrüchte & Fisch an. Auf die Frage, wieso am Eingang mit Pizza geworben wird, hieß es, dass sie nur an der Bar erhältlich sei. Ich fragte für meine Tochter nach Pizza und ob sie die nicht einfach machen könnten. Es war aber nicht möglich, da man angeblich unterschiedliche Küchen hat, was ich mir kaum vorstellen kann. Das finde ich absolut unmöglich, wenn es um Kundenservice geht. Wenn die Bar, die nebenan ist und zum Haus gehört, mit Pizza wirbt, wo ist das Problem für ein Kind eine Pizza zu machen? Das Ambiente war ganz schön, Kellner jedoch sprachen sehr schlecht englisch und waren nicht wirklich motiviert. Die Rechnung war auch nicht ordentlich. Es stand bei uns einfach nur „2x 35€“ drauf. Dabei hatten wir 1x Fisch, 1x Pommes, 1x gegrilltes Gemüse, 4 Cola (obwohl wir nur 2 bestellt hatten), 1 Eistee und 1 Wein. Man konnte gar nicht nachvollziehen, was jetzt wie viel gekostet hat und ob richtig abgerechnet wurde. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und kommen nicht...
