Food was quite good. But the stuff, especially the lady who is "catching the tourists" and pretends to be "a waiter" is quite unprofessional or maybe more try to treat people like a foals. When she offers you to get in, take an order, she speak English very well. When they bring you two additional dishes which you didn't ordered, she speak only Italian. When it comes to pay and they still ask you to pay for the food you didn't ordered and didn't eat she again doesn't speak English. You almost believe. But we was walking there again and she again offered us a table. And we speak with her in a very good English... So maybe that was not an incident but a way to rip people off? But the...

I don't quite understand some of the negative reviews of this place. It is a perfectly respectable, standard Italian restaurant. It is neither fine dining, nor haute cuisine, but it does what it should very well indeed. The pasta courses we had were both very well executed, standard Italian primi dishes. The portion size was excellent. The secondi were also fine - my partner especially enjoyed the tender veal in the saltimbocca. There is very well priced wine by the carafe and the service was friendly and informal. Significantly the place was frequented by Italian couples and families. For what you pay, this is a perfectly decent Italian...

Awful! Avoid this place - beautiful setting but the worst food we’ve had in Italy! The Carbonara was so salty it was almost inedible, the melanzane was cold and just boiled aubergine with tinned tomatoes thrown on top and the steak although well cooked was tiny! The service was so slow that as a family of four we waited over two hours for food to arrive. My husband also witnessed the waitress drop bread on the floor by the toilet pick it up and serve it to another customer! If so could give this place minus...
