We were looking for a restaurant to eat our last meal before saying ciao to La Bella Italia. This restaurant was right under our hotel so we walked in without hesitation. The place looks fancy but the prices are very reasonable without sacrificing the quality of the food and the service. My husband asked for the “Roasted octopus, it’s BBQ sauce, leeks and potatoes cream” and I went for a “Carbonara with mushrooms and bacon”….mama Mia! We accompanied that with a bottle of Cabernet Franc 2020 Iuno de Sanctis which is a local wine. Everything was exquisite. The food was like no other meal we have tried during our four weeks in and out of Italy and the wine was the prefect addition to the meal. Our bill was only €84! The owners and waiters are very kind. Especially the owners can speak English very well this makes me feel so comfortable.
We had a price disagree on the lobster, but they sort it out smoothly. I don't know what caused that problem, but thankfully it's solved quickly.
They say the oysters are imported, so that's why it's so expensive. Yet, it's still delicious. So, I guess whoever come here has to know what food you may order which is from that area, so that you don't need to spend a lot on...
