Makao sushi Y poke — Restaurant in Fiumicino

The 2 girls at the counter were very friendly and helpful. There were many choices on the menu. We opted for poke bowls-we were hungry and had been traveling. I ordered the seafood bowl and my husband ordered the shrimp bowl. Mine had tuna, shrimp, salmon along with avocado, lettuce and several other things. Everything was the freshest I had had anywhere I’ve ever been, good tasting, perfect texture, the flavor of the spicy mayo was amazing and went perfectly with all of it. Not only was it delicious but I remember feeling as though my body had rarely received such perfect nourishment and made me feel so satisfied. Oggi abbiamo provato il delivery di Makao, locale fusion di cucina asiatica, sudamericana e hawaiana di Fiumicino.

Il locale nasce dalle menti di Antonio ed Elisa, una coppia che ci ha raccontato del loro ambizioso sogno: rendere Makao un’importante realtà fusion con la creazione di un franchising.

Anche se ancora “piccoli”, già dal nostro delivery si vede l’attenzione per i particolari, per il cliente e per l’ambiente: la loro consegna trasuda stile, grazie alle confezioni colorate, a bassissimo impatto ambientale e che hanno mantenuto il cibo in ottime condizioni fino all’arrivo a casa. Ovviamente, come poter rinunciare a provare tutti i tipi di cucina serviti da Makao Sushi nel loro menù? Il nostro delivery ha avuto dunque elementi di cucina giapponese (rolls) hawaiana (pokè) e sudamericana (burrito).

Partiamo da subito col dire che il pokè è stato uno dei migliori che abbiamo mangiato: fresco, gustoso e “genuino” che ci ha praticamente trasportato su una spiaggia hawaiiana.

Anche il burrito (che ci ha molto sorpreso) e i rolls ci hanno soddisfatto molto. Le tartare poi, servite da Makao Sushi senza troppi condimenti apposta per valutare la qualità del pesce, ci hanno fatto capire ulteriormente quanto ci tengano Antonio e Elisa alla qualità e al cliente.

I rolls che ci sono piaciuti di più sono stati il Mahalo, con salmone, philadelphia, tartare di salmone e teriyaki, e il freschissimo Jahla, con salmone, avocado, philadelphia, teriyaki, sesamo, chili nuts e siracha.
