Osteria Le Brocchette — Restaurant in Fiumicino

The worst experience I have ever had!!!!we are Greeks and we know about fishes and good food !this is the first time in my life that I order one dish of pasta with mussels and the mussels were empty !I (I have fotos to see)made at the same time complains at the restaurant manager and she told to a waiter something in Italian ..I was waiting for 40 minutes and then nothing happened!I thought that she change the dish but they didn’t make nothing !after 45 minutes one man I thought was the highest manager told me ,are you ok?I explained to him about my plate and he didn’t make anything!and!!!!after the food when I say for the bill they didn’t bring us nothing like small desert from the restaurant!the gave a small glass freeze lemon but for us nothing!!!we were so kind with them beavuse ew really liked the environment but for their food we were really disappointed!!!!!!60 euro for 3 dishes one past with garlic and the garlic were babies and only 4 small small pieces😳 and one dish with mussels mine dish ans for my daughter only pasta without nothing !too much money for...

Honestly, I loved it. Pasta with Vongole Veraci, grilled octopus, one amaro and a Falanghina bottle 70 euro discounted 65.

Food was amazing.

You could taste the freshness of the clams - btw many places, to cook pasta with vongole often use the “conchiglia” rather than vongole veraci (conchiglia has a white shall rather than a colored/brownish:grayish shall) and these vongole were authentic. See the picture.

The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and the juice of the vongole made the all experience excellent.

After I realized I was still hungry (the portion was enough I just wanted to try more) I ordered Grilled octopus on a bed of Secre and Olives (the plate was also sprinkled with homemade olive powder, amazing).

The fresh bread was also a great perk of the experience: was infused with black smashed olives and was still hot, as if they have just made it.

I enjoyed talking to the owner as well, and service was impeccable and very polite - I hated Rome for their restaurant rude service but this place was...

I love this restaurant , the sea food is local and fresh . The dishes are not only delicious but as you can see from the photo's, very beautifully plated . Signor Marco took care of us and explained what we were served . We had the tasting manu that was delicious and included quite a lot of great tasting seafood. For the main dishes, we had the "fritto" fried calamari and shrimp a deceptively simple dish that can suffer greatly if the ingredients are not fresh and the taste of frying wins over the taste of the fish . I'm glad to say the "Fritto" was one of the best if not the best . We finished with a wonderful Tiramisu , I love the way the Pavesini was crunchy and had the taste of the fresh coffee . If you are in Rome and wish to enjoy a place near the beach or if you have some friends coming on a flight to Fiumicino, then this place will make a superb dining experience . Service was lovely , attentive, and friendly . Makes me want to buy an apartment in Rome just to be close to...
