Ristorante Capogrossi — Restaurant in Fiumicino

The restaurant didn't look like much from the outside, we chose it only because it was a hot and sunny day, we were tired and the terrace was nearby and in the shadow.

But the food was a pleasant surprise. I had seafood risotto, my girlfriend had spaghetti carbonara and we were both pleased with what vi got. I ordered cheesecake for dessert and that was also tasty and well arranged. They should do something to make the place more visually attractive, otherwise I think it's a decent fish restaurant.

Last meal in Italy before returning home and absolutely loved the food here at Ristorante Capogrossi. My girlfriend and I shared some of their house white wine and I ordered the fried chicken with fries while she ordered the swordfish with vegetables. Both were delicious and my girlfriend loved the swordfish. It was light but flavorful, with grilled vegetables and a nice sear on the meat. Really a 10/10 dish! I got some lemon sorbet for dessert and she got Tiramisù both were delicious. The oyster appetizer was fresh and delicious as well. Pleasant stay for dinner in an upscale restaurant. We were here with two people on a Monday at the end of September at around 8 p.m. The restaurant was almost empty and we could choose a seat 👍 The restaurant is elegant and brightly decorated and everything is very neat and clean. We had the fried baby octopus as a starter (one portion for 2 people), 2 fritto misto as a main course and a portion of tiramisu for dessert.
