Tarumbó — Restaurant in Fiumicino

Went on reviews - honestly the worst seafood and pasta (Tonnarelli allo scoglio) I’ve had anywhere in the globe. See the photos and judge. Came out looking OK with clams on top until I looked under the hood and tasted it. Way too much salt, some clams, popcorn sized inedible shrimp, larger shrimp heads w/ no tails (as if I wouldn’t notice), and other assorted miniature seafood items. My wife’s carbonara was over salted as well. While we were sitting there a customer sent back a pizza margarita after 2 bites - that says something! Unfortunately after 13 days in country our last meal in Italy (and anywhere for that matter) was so disappointing. Server was nice but other staff didn’t...

We were in town for one night after getting off a cruise ship. We needed one more delicious Italian meal before heading home and this did not disappoint! The staff was super attentive, the food was delicious and exactly what we were looking for and the atmosphere was quant and comfortable! We had the calamari which was incredible! Cooked just right with light breading. The caprese was so fresh!! The bread was cooked like a pizza pie with herbs! The food looked too good to even remember to take pics before devouring….

Would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great meal and...

We had lunch and dinner here and it was OK. Probably most of you would be happy to eat here. Wine was good food was ok. We had a variety of pasta for lunch and mixed grilled seafood, we went all out on different pizza for dinner. It was a 3.5 on average until we got desert! Omg...this was Michelin star deserts... This lifted the whole experience and I can happily recommend if you want a easy pizza and a good glass of wine. BUT please order desert! Service was exceptional good and way above any Service I received past 3 weeks in Italy. Would I walk past it yes...would I return for deserts omg...
