Ristorantino da Giorgio is a wonderful restaurant close to the airport for Rome Fiumicino with a refreshing atmosphere near the river Tiber, allowing for a summery view. The restaurant has an indoor dining section, and beautiful floor to ceiling windows in a portion of the restaurant to allow for an outdoorsy, comfortable feel. The servers are kind and the owner, Giorgio, is incredibly attentive as well as personable and fun, perfect to chat with after the meal. The food is exquisite, and comes quickly, with reasonable, filling portions. We ordered the crudo di pesce, a house mix, calamari, and a swordfish steak, among other things. Each was made wonderfully with beautiful composition and tasted delicious. I myself, who had ordered the swordfish steak, was practically salivating at the sight when it came, especially after coming straight from the airport. All in all, the place is convenient, the food is delicious, and the staff amicable and able. When I come back, I know to go straight...

We decided on this restaurant, I don't recall why. But I'm glad we did. The food was good. I ordered the pasta Ragu. They confirmed it was only beef in the meat sauce. My family had pasta with salmon and pasta Carbonara. Everyone enjoyed our food.

He also gently ushered out a vendor, which was nice. That was one thing that i disliked about Italy. All the restaurants allow vendors to come into the establishment and try to sell their wears. Which can be uncomfortable if you have an aggressive vendor. So it was really nice that this gentleman wanted to ensure his patrons had an uninterrupted dinner.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
BTW, I didn't use the washroom, so I can't comment on...
Read moreThis little place earns a very good rating for both product and process. So, the owner, chefs, and waitstaff all earn the highest rating. Now, this is not gourmet food, but we had a wide variety of dishes and all was fine. They cooked off-menu pasta for the little guys and accommodated my garlic-free bro-in law. Their patience and proficiency were very much appreciated by our group of...
