During our recent visit to another Italian restaurant, we had the opportunity to savor a variety of exquisite dishes. We started with the Tagliolini with Shrimps and Citric Fruits, which was a delightful blend of fresh seafood and zesty flavors that truly awakened our taste buds. The Strozzapreti with Prawns, Pesto, and Straciatella was another highlight, offering a perfect combination of creamy and savory elements.
For the main course, we tried the Roasted Prawns and Calamari. Unfortunately, this dish did not meet our expectations. It was disappointment compared to the other exceptional dishes we enjoyed.
To conclude our meal, we indulged in their Tiramisu, which was simply heavenly – rich, creamy, and the perfect end to our dining experience.
One small downside to our visit was the service. While the waiter was attentive and friendly, we felt a bit pressured as he was quite insistent on suggesting additional dishes to our order. A little more space to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed would have made our experience even better.
Overall, it was a lovely evening with delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this restaurant, with a slight caution regarding the Roasted Prawns...

The Location: Leaves a little to be desired as it’s not ON the water, but it’s one block off and offers second story al fresco dining with a view.
The Service: Marco had an upbeat demeanor, spoke English well, was very attentive, and gave great recommendations.
The Food: Had the mixed appetizer, trofie, gnocchi, and dessert. Everything was excellent and a bargain for a restaurant with a €€ price point. The chef did a great job of letting the best and freshest ingredients speak for themselves. Best squid I’ve ever had in the mixed app plate!!! The portions are almost too large because you won’t want to stop eating.
The Opportunities: Agree with the reviewer who wasn’t impressed by the bread. Skip it, and leave room for the meal. There was a slight delay between appetizers and entree. They bring everything out when it’s ready instead of sitting it under a heat lamp, pick...
Read moreI had a wonderful experience at Villa San Giorgio!
When I arrived, one of the staff members kindly said “No English,” which at first I misunderstood as “No service for English speakers” — but it turns out he was just letting me know that he personally didn’t speak English. He then guided me to a seat and brought me an English menu right away, and another staff member who spoke English came over to take my order. So thoughtful and coordinated!
At one point I needed a spoon, and although the staff didn’t notice, a lovely Italian woman at the next table saw me trying to get their attention and kindly spoke up for me. That small moment perfectly summed up the vibe here — warm, friendly, and welcoming from both staff and fellow diners.
The food was delicious, the view by the sea made it even better, and overall this place is such a charming spot to enjoy a relaxing meal during your travels. Highly...
