Had a terrible experience as a party of five on 1 May.

When I approached the hostess to inform her of our 8 o’clock reservation, she rolled her eyes and seemed bothered that we were even there. I’m not sure if this is because we were tourists, or because we were a party of five gentlemen.

After she lead us to our unset table outside near the pool, a male employee had to move both entire tables and bring another placemat and chair. Even then, my chair at the head of the table was propped up on a window ledge to the hotel. To have a reservation booked for over a week and arrive to an unset table is unacceptable in any fine dining capacity.

After being sat, service was non-existent. Ordering two appetizers to share and a bottle of wine should not take thirty minutes. Furthermore, we politely asked for more still water on no less than 3 occasions, and were completely overlooked for more than 20 minutes.

By the end of the meal, I went to the hostess who was so sour at the beginning and demanded a check to which she responded that we will receive it at our table.

Once I got the check (2.5 hours after our reservation,) the gentleman offered complementary biscuits and after my declination, said to me, “If you are in a rush, no problem!”

I’m really not sure why my party received such poor service; be it we are American, tourists, or a party of males where the setting primarily promotes two-tops and couples. Regardless, it was unacceptable and I’d urge any tourists with expectations of service to HIGHLY AVOID this restaurant, despite how incredible...

Excellent restaurant. We had the baccala (salted cod) that was in an amazing veloute as a starter then shared a porcini and pecorino tagellini and a prawn ravioli. Both of the pastas were perfectly cooked and the flavours of the sauces were exceptionally balance yet complex. One of the best meals I had in Italy. The portion sizes are on the smaller size, so expect to order a starter, primi or secondi and dessert. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the dishes....

A really fantastic place to enjoy a meal with good company. The staff are simply fantastic. So accommodating and flexible. Also friendly and professional. My partner is celiac and they prepared everything gluten free and special for her, being very careful about everything. Thank you so much. The food was all really tasty. Especially the burrata ravioli with truffles. They made a special pasta for me not on the menu. A wonderful night I would love to...
