Gianno bar Il Poggio — Restaurant in Florence

We happened to stumble upon this, and what a lovely little gem we did find. Spoilt for choice we did not know what to pick. The chocolate pastry was luxurious and so satisfying. But the highlight for me was the hot chocolate!! The fact they had a whole box of different variations it took me awhile to decide which one I wanted and I decided to go for a nutty flavoured one and it was so rich and luxurious, so velvety smooth! I wish I had time to have gone back another day before we left as I would have loved to have tasted more of their pastries and more of the other hot chocolate options!!! Definitely go and check out if you in the area. And the decor was so cute! And obvious that local people just like to come and enjoy themselves and socialise and just be! If we weren't in such a hurry we Definitely would have soaked up the vibe lot longer! Probably would have ordered lot...

Visto che abitiamo a 100 metri dal bar, lo frequentiamo spesso. Nonostante ciò spesso preferiamo andare alla pasticceria che si trova un po’ più lontano perché il sevizio è veramente lento e spesso si crea una lunga coda, ho assistito spesso alle scene dove la gente ci rinunciava e se ne andava. Le due ragazze non sono proprio tutto sorriso, il ragazzo invece molto gentile e cordiale. La qualità prezzo nella norma. Bar curato e pulito. Avendo fatto anche io la barista durante gli anni all’ università, capisco che avvolte la gente è tanta e non ci si fa a fare tutto, ma sicuramente le chiacchiere con il collega si fanno eccome ma non quando c’è...

Ho visitato questo bar con alcuni amici e mi sono trovato bene. Il personale è gentile e veloce, la colazione non è male e il prezzo è onesto. La location è bella, con un arredamento moderno e accogliente. L'unico neo è che il bar si trova su una strada molto trafficata, quindi il rumore delle auto può essere fastidioso. Per questo motivo, do al bar 4 stelle su 5. Lo consiglio a chi cerca un posto tranquillo per fermarsi a mangiare qualcosa, ma non a chi cerca...
