My friend and I ate here the last night of our trip in Italy. We did appreciate the atmosphere and service but the food was one of the worst meals I've ever had ever, and I really regret paying for it. My friend ordered a calzone and I think it was okay but nothing special. I ordered a green salad and an Italian burger, and asked for it to be cooked medium doneness. The green salad came and it consisted of a plate of shredded iceberg lettuce and arugula. Not only was some of the arugula wilted but there was an insect in it. While there was olive oil on the table no other condiment was provided and it was impossible to catch the waiter's eye. When the burger came it looked really pretty, but it was really tall so I cut it in half to eat it. It was completely raw inside. The same thing happened to the young guy at the next table. We both sent the burgers back to the kitchen and after another 10 minutes they both still came back raw. The guy at the next table gave up and didn't eat anything, but I really needed something to eat at this point so I sent mine back to the kitchen again. The third time it came back cooked enough to eat, but it was literally just a lump of hamburger with no seasoning whatsoever. The only flavor came from the single tomato slice which was at least ripe! I'd be ashamed if I'd served that to a guest in my home, let alone pretending to be a professional chef! On our way out the door, we overheard a conversation where a delivery driver was complaining about the bad food he'd delivered to someone's home. So I don't know who was in the kitchen that evening but whoever it was doesn't know the first thing about either cooking or food safety! Be careful what...

Let me start with saying “Exceptionally poor customer service “ mine encounter was exceptionally bad ...it all started with my entry to the restaurant in via senese along with my family! A guy who told me his name as the owner “Padrone “ came shouting on a stupid and rude manner ..you got three pizzas yesterday and got away without paying .On my repeated request thrice he was consisted in saying i got the pizzas and didn’t pay ...finally i have to loose my control and had to ask my family to go out and sit in the car because i have a small baby of 4 years. finally i have to raise my voice to let this stupid “ Padrone” know he is wrong and has some misunderstanding! This place left me on bad note and under the impression that if the owner is so uneducated & lag in basic mannerism what the other staff member are upto ... for me it’s a highly no no if someone is expecting decent and educated behavior where one is taking his or her...

We ate here on vacation and one person in our party had very particular dietary restrictions due to histamine intolerance. She ordered something that turned out she could not eat and she was upset (not at the restaurant or personnel but rather frustrated with her situation). The waiter handled the situation admirably well and insisted on getting her something she could eat and would like. We found something and she ordered again and the wrong order was sent back and later did not even appear on the check! The way the situation was handled saved our day — the waiter realized the upset was not with him or the restaurant but the situation and helped solve it accordingly. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food was delicious. The service in general was very friendly and professional and we all went out with a very positive experience.
