Beautiful restaurant with what I’m sure is a stunning view of the city (only went at night). We were staying at a nearby villa and this was one of the close restaurants- absolutely incredible! The staff was friendly and patient with our attempts at Italian (our server spoke German and English as well and was extremely kind enough to let us in on New Years without a reservation). The food is out of this world. The truffle sauce is to die for and absolutely don’t skimp on the wine or the desert. Thank you all so much for giving us a magical New Years dinner in Florence :)

My sister and I heard about this gem from a friend who couldn't say enough. After a spectacular meal, we moved on to other cities in Italy. But we couldn't get the food, the view, and the wonderful owner out of our minds, so we came back to Florence for another meal. It didn't disappoint.

We were here 10 years ago and absolutely loved this restaurant. We finally returned and decided to have our friends join us for a lovely dinner. The views were spectacular as was the ambience. The hostess was lovely as was the waitress. Unfortunately three of the 4 meals were extremely disappointing. The roast pork slice was extremely thin and did not come with roasted potatoes but store bought French fries. The chicken with pistachios was overpowered by lemon juice and the pasta with meat sauce tasted bitter and was oversalted. I will however, add that the gnocchi with zucchini flowers was delicious. The gnocchi were light and fluffy, the sauce creamy yet light. I hope this was just an off day for the restaurant as I have recommended it to many travellers...

Beautiful vista to enjoy sunset on the terrace overlooking the hills & the city. 2 couples dining. Disappointing experience. Would not recommend. Service by owner & server were unremarkable. Food disappointing. Not at all what we expected. All dishes heavily salted. I ordered the Chicken with Pistachios. Small pieces of chicken meat only, pan fried in oil, heavily salted & doused in fresh lemon juice which overwhelmed the dish. Fine dusting of ground up pistachios. Presented on one lettuce leaf. Roast Pork with Potatoes consisted of a thin slice of dry roast pork roulade with what appeared to be a liver stuffing, accompanied by heavily salted commercial...
