Green Store Pub - La Guerrina — Restaurant in Florence

This is as close to a real Irish bar as it gets outside Ireland. The staff are really lovely, friendly chatty and happy to help if you have any queries. I’m also staying above the pub their air b&b. It’s just fantastic. I love it. The owner kindly offers guests a free drink and some food on them. It’s a really nice touch. The food was really good too. The kitchen for the guests to use is brilliant and well stocked with cakes biscuits cereal fruit yogurts coffee teas and other bits and bobs that may grab you. Everything is spotless clean. The room itself is perfect. Lovely bathroom big bed tv and a balcony that is just beautiful. All in all excellent value for money. They do also leave ear plugs in the rooms incase you’re a light sleeper like me. I haven’t needed them at all. There are stairs to climb but they’re not to bad at all. I have a really bad back so stairs kinda puts me off, these are fine, just take your time. I’ve loved everything about here, I can’t wait...

El desayuno para diabeticos, no esta mal q sea asi, pero nada tenia sabor normal, era todo galletitas o panqueques comprados con varios dias de estar ahi, reponen un dia mil cosas y los dueños jamas estan en el lugar, no se que hotel hace el check in de 17 a 23, y ademas en un bar que estaban todos a los gritos con la musica super alta, nunca nos dijeron las normas de la casa, si podiamos comer lo q quisieramos de la cocina cuando quisieramos, o solo en el desayuno, por ejemplo, habian 6 yogurt cuando llegamos, si se nos antojaba comerlo de merienda o desayuno o postre, no iba a quedar para nadie para el otro dia, eso nos lo tienen que aclarar, tampoco se nos aviso si teniamos que lavar los trastos luego de desayunar, la mujer de limpieza va solo a las 7 de la mañana, los q desayunan luego de q se va (q se va super rapido) ya dejan todo sucio y si queres una taza, te la tenes q lavar, y despues uno por buena conducta, vuelve a lavarla para dejarla limpia para el otro dia. Avisamos que no teniamos las cosas limpias a la mañana y nos pusieron excusas, ah y no se cada cuanto era que pasaba la mujer a limpiar la habitación y cambiar las toallas, estuvimos tres dias y solo la vimos cuando limpio solo una habitacion de dos huespedes que se habian ido. Conclusión, tenes q levantarte a desayunar, super temprano, no te podes bañar mucho xq no te cambian las toallas, y preparate para desayunar...

Stopped in for a cold drink after a long walk...the bus schedule changed yesterday. Murphy's Law. Silvia, our baristia, recommended Smithwick's Irish Ale. Very good! Will have it again. Great atmosphere, fantastic music. They have some outdoor seating that looks very comfortable. We sat at the bar and were very at ease.
