My husband Bernie and I went and visited this side of Italy for our 40th anniversary and this was on the way to our hotel so we decided to stop here, and my goodness was it full of course we waited and waited until a host finally talked to us and was asking if we just arrived and I told them no so they were like "oh" proceeded to look for a table for us and couldn't find one open for us but a party of 10 came right after us and got seated right away. NO ATMOSPHERE, TERRIBLE FOOD

NO CHINESE ATMOSPHERE: everything is cold and modern, looks like a barbershop

NO CHINESE MUSIC: they have a screen where the play modern chinese youtube with young people singing international and boring songs

THE FOOD WAS LATE half an hour

THE FOOD HAD EGGS, we asked only for vegetables and we had eggs, not only bad but even very risky: they should write what they have inside of their dishes, someone can be allergic!

Florence as a city is over-glorified and inordinately expensive. For 2 families tired of spending money on unworthy stay and restaurants in Florence, Sampan came to be a huge relief.

We were so happy with the dinner that we went to the same restaurant again the next night for dinner as well. Their eggplant curry was simply delicious ! The service was great as well.
