Vineria Sonora — Restaurant in Florence

Stopped in for an aperitivo before dinner as this bar was so close to our hotel. We ended up going three times as everyone was so welcoming.

Lovely people running the show with a friendly welcome. The lady who served us recommended a super red with a very interesting flavour.

The shop itself was stocked full of bottles of the most interestingly coloured wine.

The food at the counter looked really good. On our last night we ordered food we had the hummus, ravioli and crostini with onion.

All the food was delicious and well portioned. The ravioli was so well done a simple dish but so tasty.

This place is perfection! They have a very decent selection of natural wines by glass, which is not very easy to find in Italy. We’ve tried some of the finest orange wines here! Not only the wine is to die for, but also the vibes, food, atmosphere. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, plus they speak good English and can get into a conversation about flavours and terroirs. Would avoid coming here alone. Nice wine bar with good selection of wine. I love natural wine, that’s why I came here, but unfortunately I felt really ignored because I came on my own. I was placed at the corner. No one asked me if I wanted another drink, they were busy with other customers, so they didn’t have time for a single person I guess.
