Cuore Piccante — Restaurant in Foligno

Really special restaurant, must visit! This place changed my bad mood to perfect today evening:)) Food is really delicious: pasta with trufels, bacon and some special sauce, was very good, artichoke salade - not bad. But really fantastic was eggs (uovo al forno su crema, tartufo...!!!) - it was so tender, melts in the mouth, so tasty.... and meat with pear, tartufo, figs, medium rare...and so good:)) We were really full, but it would be so pity not to try the desert:)) Thanks to very nice girl Caterina, who served for us, and helped us with choosing dishes, and nice guy from kitchen we choose Pana-kotta with berries - delicious and very light !!!

What a lovely restaurant! Cozy and romantic atmosphere with only 6 tables (reservation is needed). The menu is written on the wall, only in Italian. We just chose a few dishes based on what we understood and everything was great. Creative but well-balanced options. The tuna tartare was tasty and the basil sorbet a great addition. All homemade pasta was delicious. We even got an amuse and a pre-dessert. Would give 10 stars if possible, this is...

Un piccolo gioiello di gusto a due passi dal centro di Foligno

A pochi passi dal cuore pulsante di Foligno, in via Garibaldi, si trova il Ristorante Piccante: un localino piccolo e accogliente, con solo 6-8 tavoli, perfetto per chi cerca un’esperienza gastronomica intima e curata nei minimi dettagli.

Fin da subito si percepisce la volontà dell’oste di fare bella figura: il menù è ricercato, con proposte particolari che rivelano attenzione alla qualità e al gusto, senza mai essere banali. Ogni piatto è pensato per sorprendere e soddisfare.

Un grande punto a favore è l’attenzione alle famiglie: nostra figlia è stata servita subito con un ottimo piatto di tortellini al pomodoro, semplice ma perfettamente eseguito. Mia moglie, vegetariana, ha apprezzato moltissimo l’uovo al forno con crema di brustengi e tartufo estivo, un piatto raffinato e pieno di carattere. Io ho scelto le chitarrine con ricci di mare — davvero notevoli — seguite da un polpo arrosto su un letto di verdure stufate: cottura perfetta e abbinamenti armoniosi.

Chiudono in bellezza i dolci, esilaranti per creatività e sapore. Si percepisce la voglia di stupire anche nel finale.
