Il Galeone Lido Ristorante — Restaurant in Forio

Michela and her team at the Galeone are very efficient, well-organized and friendly. Beach chairs/umbrellas, unforgettable meals, a quick coffee, sunset aperitivo (a must!) or even sandwiches to take with you on your daily excursions - they've got you covered. We ate here many times during our stay because the food was just so good and the prices are reasonable. Start your meal with their bruschetta - it's the best I've ever had! You can ask for it without garlic, too. Also, the local amaro is called Rucolino and it's a great way to end your meal. What I liked most of all about Galeone is the atmosphere - it reminded me of the beach bars in Greece. Beach bars in Italy sometimes try to create a "party" vibe with loud music, etc. If you're looking for the woo-hoo Italian summer party scene, there are other places to go. If you want something authentic and relaxing, the sound of the waves and good food/service, this is your place. Regarding the reviewer who commented about their pizza, it's best to get pizza from a pizzeria with a wood-burning oven when you're in Italy, not a beach bar. Giugno 2024 Ancora al Galeone a conferma dei precedenti positivi giudizi. Michela sempre gentilissima e disponibile. I ragazzi della spiaggia precisi e attenti. Lido e ristorante super consigliati. Al prossimo anno!

Giugno 2023 Ci sono stato anche quest'anno e, per me, resta un lido che si distingue per accoglienza ed ambiente, decisamente familiare. Michela è una ragazza molto comprensiva e disponibile; Gabriele è il giusto e paziente bagnino! Poi c'è Salvatore, anch'egli bravo! Gli avventori che si lamentano, non hanno la minima idea di cosa significa essere collocati a 3 metri dall'acqua cristallina e limpida, seppur leggermente in discesa! Pur essendo a pensione completa in hotel, ho mangiato qualcosa al Galeone: top! Al prossimo anno 😀

Abbiamo fruito del servizio spiaggia de Il Galeone, abbinato ad una settimana di vacanza presso l’Hotel Sorriso. Ambiente familiare ed accogliente. Gentilissima la figlia del titolare e disponibilissimo Matteo addetto alla spiaggia, tenuta pulita ed abbastanza in ordine se si considera lo spazio a disposizione, ridotto per il mare che avanza! Servizi igienici puliti; idem la cabina spogliatoio. Wi-Fi disponibile e con segnale sufficiente. Una stellina in meno perché manca una fontana verso l'uscita per rimuovere la sabbia dai piedi (il tubo di gomma, per com'era posizionato, non aveva effetto per rimuoverla). Avendo fruito della pensione completa in hotel, solo consumazioni al bar del lido. Tuttavia dai menù, prezzi e avventori ai tavoli, sicuramente...
