Worst restaurant in Ischia, would not recommand at all, never come here, the waitress is very disrespectful especially with tourists. As a tourist, we wanted to try some croissants at this supposedly cafeteria. But to our surprise, as soon as the waitress ( an old lady with a cap) found out we didn’t speak italian, she became arrogant, seemed unconcerned and on the verge of being irrespectful towards us. She even seemed annoyed when we ordered. The menu is not the same with what they have ( no tiramisu but it’s on the menu) and when she served us our « croissant with Nutella » it turned out it was with jam. La vergogna del porto di Ischia. Il Bar La Lucciola è la più classica trappola per turisti: posizione perfetta sul porto, ma una volta dentro vi ritrovate nell’inferno dell’improvvisazione e della maleducazione. Il cornetto “ischitano”? Un blocco di surgelato scaldato al volo senza gusto. Il caffè? Bruciato, amarissimo, roba che persino una macchinetta da stazione ferroviaria prepara meglio. E poi c’è il personale. Definirli “camerieri” è già troppo generoso: sembra più un branco di buttafuori frustrati messi dietro al bancone. La signora che dovrebbe servire i clienti non sa cosa significhi educazione: alla semplice chiamata da parte della mia compagna ha iniziato a urlare istericamente “Io sono da sola e sono piena di comande!”. Una scimmia urlatrice avrebbe più classe e più senso del dovere. Dopo 20 minuti di nulla assoluto, mi sono dovuto servire da solo come al peggior self-service. E mentre portavo io stesso la colazione al tavolo, mi sono pure sentito gridare dietro: “Il servizio si paga!”. Pagare cosa? Le urla? La maleducazione? La totale assenza di rispetto? IL SERVIZIO SI PAGA SE SI È SERVITI. E la beffa finale: esasperato, ho chiesto di farmi l’asporto. Risultato? Mi hanno guardato come se stessi chiedendo la luna, con quell’aria di sufficienza che rende chiaro quanto questo posto disprezzi i propri clienti. In sintesi: cibo mediocre, ambiente tossico e personale che non dovrebbe nemmeno avere il diritto di lavorare a contatto con persone. Una vergogna assoluta per un’isola meravigliosa...

We wanted to have a quick breakfast before leaving with the ferry to catch our plane. The waitress dropped a coffee on the back of my girfriend, her t-shirt and short fully covered with coffee.
