Ristorante l'Arca — Restaurant in Forio

Disappointing experience at this restaurant. We've been loyal customers, visiting for the 5th time, but our latest visit will be our last. The owner was at the entrance smoking a cigarette, and when we mentioned we were only there for dessert and an expensive bottle of wine, he immediately spoke to us in a condescending manner. He made it clear that this was a "restaurant, not a bar," even though there were only a few tables filled late at night. We were taken aback by his attitude, as we didn't understand the issue. It seemed like he was intent on making us feel very uncomfortable, so we left. It's a shame because the view is stunning, but sadly, the service doesn't match. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby with better food and a far better understanding of customer service. We won't...

A faultless experience - so good, we went back for a second time for our last night at Ischia

Food, ambience, service, timing between meals, portion sizes, wine recommendations, team and a view to accompany it all are exceptional

Maurizio’s and his team’s philosophy to keep the menu to a manageable size focusing on fresh produce and quality of each meal did not disappoint.

If you are looking for a special occasion or simply great food, give L’Arca a try - we really had a fantastic time, and the team are very responsive and friendly, with of course wonderful food to enjoy.

Based on our experience, we could not recommend L’Arca high enough.

I took a cab tour around Ischia and the driver drove past this restaurant. I was so stunned of the exterior and how great the place is built on the big rock. I told the driver to stop and decided to have a lunch there.

When I walked in, my husband and i were only customer in the restaurant. We just on a vacation but I feel like we are on honeymoon. We get the perfect table next to the window and see 180 degrees view. The environment makes me feel so special and romantic.

Actually, i wasn't hungry so I only had a salad, and my husband had a pasta and he said it was delicious. I probably will go back there if i visit this Island again...
