TLDR; Average food & service for above average pricing. There are much better restaurants in Ischia.

Food: -Overpriced, and about average in quality. The "gourmet" pizza was actually a margarita.. without tomatoe sauce and only a few slices of ham on it. The seafod risotto was infact regular rice mixed with a bland sauce. The clams tasted quite good.

Service: -The waiter was rude and frankly I got the feeling he did not want us there in the first place.

-Furthermore they mixed up our table with another one (there was only one other customer in the restaurant at the time) and as a result me and my girlfriend got our foods 20minutes apart - I had alredy finished my pizza by the time she got her risotto.

-Mistakes happen, but not only did they mix up the tables. They also did not inform us of this which led to us sitting in confusion for 20 minutes.

La sera di Ferragosto abbiamo trovato posto in questo ristorante senza aver prenotato per via del guasto alla rete telefonica su tutta l'isola da due giorni. Quindi io e la mia ragazza ci sediamo alle 21.15 contenti e subito serviti con acqua e vino. Il locale non era ancora pieno, nonostante ciò siamo riusciti a ordinare solo dopo circa 40 minuti (impepata di cozze come antipasto, un primo da dividere e due fritture come secondo) dopo aver sollecitato tre volte il personale di sala vedendo ritirate le ordinazioni di altri tavoli arrivati molto dopo di noi. L'impepata di cozze ordinata come antipasto è arrivata solo alle 22.40 (senza infamia e senza lode). Dopo un'altra mezz'ora abbiamo chiesto se il primo fosse in arrivo, la risposta ricevuta dal cameriere è stata "non lo so". Al che dopo 2 ore e lo stomaco ancora vuoto abbiamo deciso di alzarci e tornare a casa a mangiare. Al momento del pagamento, ci è stato addirittura incluso il coperto che ci siamo rifiutati di pagare in quanto non abbiamo ricevuto alcun servizio. Where can I start ? From the warm welcome to the sad goodbye or see you later, this place is amazing. It is the best place around! The service is quick and the food is just melting in your mouth. I would recommend the tagliatelle all'a bussola which are absolutely delicious! Don't be afraid to listen and follow the advice given by the waitress...they know their dishes. Best...
