Grazie e...

I had an exceptional experience at Ristorante La Vinaigrette in Gallipoli. We dined on two occasions at 19:30 on Friday 18th and Sunday 20th of August. Reserving a table in advance is a must if you’d like to dine on the terrace overlooking the sea. On both occasions we had the cooked shared platter of seafood which was a journey for your tastebuds and would reckon end for anyone dining to have this. We had a number of other main dishes but the one which stood out to me was the Orecchiette with seafood, a subtle yet bold depth of flavour to the sauce and well cleaned and cooked seafood. Overall the quality of the food was truly fantastic, leaving me in awe of the flavors and presentation. The atmosphere was delightful, creating a perfect setting for a memorable evening. However, what truly stood out was Paolo's impeccable service. Having dined in numerous countries and countless restaurants, Paolo's genuine, welcoming, informative, and attentive service was unparalleled. His attention to detail and personalised care made the dining experience truly exceptional. Without a doubt, Ristorante La Vinaigrette, under Paolo's guidance, has set a new standard for...

Make a reservation via WhatsApp to be sure to get a table, because this is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. The restaurant focuses on fresh seafood catches of the day, though there are a few limited vegetarian dishes. Ask the staff for recommendations for daily fresh fish, because the menu changes accordingly. The standard menu items are ok too, fresh pastas etc. I got the red tuna carpaccio in olive oil and lemon, swordfish gratin, and mixed seafood orecchiete pasta with tomatoes. All were excellent but I wish I had gone all out for the whole fish of the day (secondi) and skipped over the pasta (primi). Anyways, the service was kind and helpful, never intrusive, and the dining room is lovely and spacious with a vaulted ceiling and windows overlooking the harbour. In the summer and daytimes of the off-season there is limited outdoor seating. If you're driving allow time to find parking on the mainland and about 15-20minutes walking over the bridge to Gallipoli Vecchio since there is very limited parking...

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! My Dad and I ate lunch here while visiting Gallipoli and we were very impressed with not only the food, but with the amazing service as well. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and seemed to really love his job. The views upstairs are unbeatable, as is the quality of the food here. Everyone went out of their way to make it a very special experience for my Dad and me. We would come back to eat here in a heartbeat. You will not be disappointed eating here!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was very tasty, especially the squid ink tagliatelle and fried calamari with caramelized onions. The only downsides were that the most expensive dish—the one I ordered—had literally only 3 small pieces of fish for €28, which surprised me a lot. We also noticed some tension among the waiters, except for one who served us at dessert time and said the tiramisu was very good, possibly the best, and he was right. The cheesecake, however, tasted too much like strawberry syrup for my liking.
